Wat?

Yeah I don't buy that, without a doubt City and Pep were chasing him pretty hard as a CB. why the hell would've he been bought to play as a LB? I mean yeah he can play LB but this screams excuses.

Nobody is going to pay 65M. for him, and I guess he knows that.
Now that we have other alternatives it is kind of refreshing to see players who don't rate EPL as the highest glory they can get.
He is young, of course so could maybe make a move later on.

Yes, but according to Marca he'll "only" get paid 4,5M per year while City were offering him 7M.

Strange decision imo, thought him signing for city was a done deal. If he was gonna earn loads more at city but has chosen to stay it must mean he loves the club. Refreshing to see tbh

Apparently, he is on his way to City for about 60m "buyout clause"

Teams are going mad this window.

Pep getting Laporte would allow city to get rid of Mangala. and Kompany's time at City is coming to an end as well.

Stones right now has gone back to being error prone again. He looked good before that injury but ever since he got back he's not been doing well at all.

Honestly I have never been a fan of Laporte, it is kind of big risk for Pep,could turn to be just super expensive CB
