Don't know how reliable this rumour is but wouldn't mind another Emerson like deal.

Checked out his YT (yeah I know, not the best source of scouting) and he is stronger with the right foot. I wonder if thats the position we would be eyeing him for.

Zambrotta was a successful exception on the wrong fullback slot at Juve, but if this guy were to ever be a future fullback at Barcelona then we would need some genuine width on the left wing. And wingers is something we just don't do.

From what I've seen he's pretty good with both feets. Looks like a younger Roberto but a bit faster. Versatility certainly can't hurt to get him more minutes if he'll ever want to make it here. Could be worth a risk for 8-10m but it's very likely our apparent interest is also just a BS rumour.

Our loanees. Would be a good midtable team but don't know who would score. And well, without a GK. :)

Also, I've read we're competing with RM for services of a 16 yo striker Herculano Nabian whose contract with Vitoria Guimaraes is expiring next year.

Herculano Nabian joined Vitoria de Guimar?es youth academy from Belenenses in 2018. He was and still is a real goal machine for Vitoria youth teams ? he scored over 50 goals for U-15 and U-17 teams in the last two years.

I know he's physically superior to his opponents and he won't have that advantage at the next level but overall also looks pretty good with his movement and passing. Wouldn't mind buying him for a decent fee, start him in Juvenil A and maybe also give him some minutes in Barca B who desperately need a good striker.

we should sell most of them even for 5m and have a buyback option. We should do that more often instead of keeping them for too long and letting them go for free.

Monchu (5m) and Collado (5m) are very good, but not good enough for the first team just yet. Alena (10m) should be sold if we get another attacking CM. We do not need Busquets (5m) because we already have FDJ.

Wauge (10m) made the wrong decision coming here, unfortunately, he should go too.

Rafinha (10m) will most likely stay at CF.

That is 40m. We have got plenty of them in Barca B, for example, Chumi (2.5m) and Mingueza (2.5m). I think we should follow Madrid's approach, sell as many as we can and get them when they are ready. Only loan the best ones.

Agreed.

I've read some time ago that Celta has a buy option on Rafinha and they are already preparing to buy him. I think in the end we'll probably do similar deal we did with Denis, so around 12m+ add-ons. I'll take whatever we can get. I like him but he's just too injury prone and his contract expires next year.

I was looking at the list of the players with contract expiring this and next year.

I'm only concentrating on U23 players.

2020

- Malang Sarr (CB/LB, 21) - I've mentioned him a few days ago, could be an interesting versatile defender for us but don't think we're interested
- Tanguy Kouassi (CB, 17) - very talented but we probably look for someone with more experience. And he'll also prefer going to the club where he'll have guaranteed playing time. Apparently already has signed a pre-contract with Leipzig (which makes sense with Upamecano leaving).
- Adil Aouchiche (AMC, 17) - another PSG player with expiring contract. I wouldn't mind signing him and sending him on loan for a few seasons but don't see it happening.
- Hugo Duro (FWD, 20) - a possible Barca B signing, especially if they are promoted to Segunda. He already has some La Liga experience.

2021

- Gigi Donnarumma (GK, 21) - we don't need him
- Ferran Torres (RW, 20) - would like to get him but probably unlikely at this point
- Dayot Upamecano (CB, 21) - my prefered target for CB
- Sandro Tonali (DM, 19) - there were some rumours about our interest but his agent said recently it would be the best for him to stay in Italy. I think he'll go to Juve.
- Lukas Klostermann (CB, 23) - could be a solid option, he has experience playing all over the backline for Leipzig.
- Nico Elvedi (CB, 23) - don't know much about him but I've heard good things
- Bukayo Saka (LB, 18) - Arsenal will probably renew his contract before we'll have any chance to get him
- Rayan A?t Nouri (LB, 18) - another good LB talent, his asking price is apparently over 30m with multiple EPL clubs interested so way over what I think we're willing to pay for a LB
- Giovanni Reyna (AM, 17) - I think he's a bit overlooked with all other young talent around him at Dortmund but has great potential. I expect BVB will do everything to renew his contract.
- Brais Mendez (RW, 23) - he has shown some promise at Celta but his development has stalled. Don't think he has potential for a top club but who knows.
- Adolfo Gaich (CF, 21) - the Argentinian Lewandowski whose clause is set at 15m, could be worth a risk
- Jude Bellingham (CM, 16) - highly rated youngster whom I don't believe we have any interest in. United and Dortmund seems like a possible destinations.
- Ryan Gravenberch (CM, 17) - I like what I've seen from him but we already have a similar type of a young midfielder in Ilaix and I expect Ajax will keep Gravenberch for a few more seasons. We should still keep an eye on his development.
- Marcos Paulo (CF, 19) - another forward who could be had for around 15m and possibly loaned for a season or two. He's a Brazilian but plays for Portugal youth teams so wouldn't take a non-EU spot
- Lucas Martinez Quarta (CB, 23) - multiple European top clubs like RM, City and Ajax have shown interest in River Plate's defender so he'll probably be sold this year. He also has Italian passport.
- Ibrahim Sangare (DM, 22) - he was rumoured to Barca weeks ago, I prefer Camavinga but Sangare could be a solid and cheaper option too. Reminds me a bit on a young Yaya.
- Talles Magno (CF, 17) - as a Brazilian he's probably on our radar but will end up in Madrid
- Sontje Hansen (CF, 17) - another promising player from Ajax who was a Golden Boot winner at U17 WC last year and is already wanted by Man City
- Adria Bernabe (CM, 18) - former La Masia player
- Rodrigo Riquelme (RW, 20) - a promising winger who has already made a debut for Atletico in La Liga.
- Michal Karbownik (LB, 19) - a midfielder converted to LB I've mentioned a few days ago

I know we don't have interest in most of those players but I've still decided to write their names in one place. If some of them could possibly be available on a free transfer next season I think they are most worth a risk. But majority of them will either be sold or renew contracts with their current clubs.

There are also some older players like Sane, Pogba, Aubameyang, Alaba, Thiago, Depay, Wijnaldum, Telles and Milik whose contracts expires in 2021 but don't think we really will/should target anyone of them. Sane is the most interesting but he's coming off a serious injury. We also have shown no interest in him and he's probably going to Bayern. I wouldn't mind Alaba but I believe he'll stay at Bayern. I like Milik too but his injury history is a big red flag.

Reportedly we are interested in 25year old offensive midfielder Alekxey Miranchuk from Lokomotiv Moskow. I will post it here as I don't really see this rumour going anywhere.

He is actually pretty decent and a smart move for a development team like Sevilla. But can't see him making an impact here direct from Russia- if ever.

EDIT: Youtube Vid, coz, you know.

He probably wouldn't be too expensive and could bring some creativity but his quality level is questionable. He'll also turn 25 later this year so he probably is what he is at this stage of his career with not a lot of room for improvement. And more importantly I don't trust Eastern European players to succeed at Barca. He'd probably turn out the next Hleb or Chygrinsky. And Hleb was actually a proven player in BL and EPL before joining us, this guy has never played outside of Russia.

Anyway, it's very likely just a BS rumour and his agent trying to use a supposed Barca interest to sell him to another club or get him a new contract at Lokomotiv (it worked well for many players) so not even worth to waste too much time thinking about him.

Accept the Semedo + money offer for Cancelo. Could be nice if we through players exchanges could get Ndombele aswell.

Cancelo and Ndombele is a great start to the summer.

Cancelo is far better than Semedo going forward but seems like a bit of an immature type of player and be a worry doesnt seem to stay anywhere longer than a season.

Be as well getting Emerson for less and going Roberto/Emerson at RB.

Ndombele seems to be another player with attitude or fitness issues going by what he has shown at Spurs. Another risky signings and not what Barca need unless they think he would improve on that.

Completely agree on your take regarding Semedo/Cancelo. Need to see more of Emerson, not convinced yet. Ndombele fitness at Spurs is weird, didn?t really had these problems in Lyon but he has more quality on the ball than both Arthur and Frenkie in the final third for sure.

The best scenario for Barca would be to sell Semedo and sign Canselo. None of S.Roberto or Emerson are better than him as a RB. Sergio may be his sub as usual.

Ndombele is a very talented yet I could see why people can get frustrated with him.

The Guardian did put up a piece about him when he transferred to spurs back in the Summer of last year saying his biggest issues have to do with staying focused. A player who can put up some MOTM performances against the likes of PSG/Man City but drop some stinkers vs some lower-mid table teams.

His time at Tottenham seems to reinforce that idea. Not staying fit or not looking like he has it in him to change his status under Mou.

No it isnt 'the best scenario' if Cancelo is not good enough or has poor attitude better going on Emerson/Roberto and use money elsewhere.

Btw, it seems like the club is after a great final third passer who also has a great passing range. The interest in Ndombele and Pjanic confirms this. This must mean that the club from now on see De Jong as a DM and want a better passer in his position in terms of passing range, chance creation etc etc

Theoretically speaking what would be best addition to a De Jong-Pjanic/Ndombele midfield? An athletic ball winner, a box to box, a advanced midfielder etc etc?
