I like Aouar and wanted to buy him for a long time but until Messi is here we probably won't get an AMC. We also have Pedri who could fit into that role in a year or two.

Feels were linked to alot of old players once again

Like whom? Ney and Pjanić are the only ones. We won't get Ney and I don't believe Pjanić rumours.

Do you think the club is feeding MD and Sport with the Pjanic rumours and are really going for someone else? Im really hoping that. I agree about the profile though, the Thiago/Verratti is the profile we need in midfield. I can see Ndombele and Bruno Guimaraes fit into that role.

Yeah, I think these are mostly BS rumours. I don't doubt that Juve is trying to sell Pjanić (so his name being linked to Barca is a good news for them to drive up his price) and that he would want to come but I don't believe our interest is as serious as papers are saying. It wouldn't surprise me if our true target in Juve is Bentancur. It's not very likely Juve would sell him but if we've given up on Arthur then maybe a swap deal among those two could be in play. I don't know if this would be a good move or not (it's certainly better than swapping Arthur for Pjanić though; and I'm not an Arthur fan) but it's very unlikely to happen so I won't even think much about it. We are linked to Juve players in every transfer window and in the end nothing ever happens so this will probably be the case again.

Im really hoping so. I get a bit nervous when both Sport and MD is reporting in constantly. Usually that IMO indicate that the board is feeding them with the rumour. I dont know much about Bentancur, what type of player is he? Looks a bit like Fede from highlights.

Yeah, he's a box to box midfielder who we could use. Good defensively and can also provide going forward. 7 assists in 19 league games this season is pretty good. Don't know how he would fit with FDJ but we could do much worse than getting him.

In another news, we're apparently interested in Pervis Estupinan, a 22 yo LB from Watford who has played the last 5 seasons on loan for various Spanish (Segunda and La Liga) teams. He's having a very good season at Osasuna. Rumours are we're planning to buy him for around 10m and loan him to Valladolid. Don't know how true these rumours are though as Man United and AM are after him as well so price will probably be higher. Wouldn't mind him but I prefer that Polish kid who is younger and probably has a higher upside (also a lower floor as a primarily right-footed player playing as a LB and relatively new to the position though).

Statistically he looks quite good (BTW, Alphonso Davies :worthy:)

Also had a solid game against RM earlier this season...

Some more higlights (actual highlights starts around 3:56)

"messi983" is right.Until Messi is still around, Barcelona don't need an attacking midfielder. Next season Busy and Rakitic (if still here) will mainly serve as a subs. Frenkie will get back to his primary position as a defensive midfielder. All we need is to find another solid DM to pair with him. The names of Camavinga, Soumare and Ndidi were already mentioned here. I would like to introduce two young talented DM's from France U-21 national team.

Youssouf Fofana ( 20) from Monaco and Boubacar Kamara (21) from Marseille, who can also play as a CB.

Also the new interest from RB Leipzig for J.C.Todibo indicates that they don't count on Upamecano and Konate for the new season and are looking for replacements. That is the moment we should use now. We can include Todibo (30 m.) in the deal for one of their two CB's which price tag has dropped from 60 to 40 mil.

Where do you scout all these talents bro? FIFA? FM? PES?

Why post about players we aren't linked with?

I would like KDB, Bernardo Silva, Mbappe, Mane, Konate, VVD. But It's not happening so why bother talking about it?

Focus on players we are linked with by reliable sources like Pjanic, Neymar, Lautaro etc

Rumors are rumors but I really hate the idea of us selling Emerson without giving him a real shot here.

Semedo not renewing? I can understand selling him but imagine selling both Semedo and Emerson but and getting someone De Sciglio as a "Replacement" is a thing of nightmares.

As I understand the MD article, we will only spend money on a 9, Lautaro or Werner. The rest of the transfer will be from swap deals. No good times ahead.

The fact that so many clubs are after Todibo should be a hint that he's good enough to start for Bar?a and actually has some talent. However these fools can only see $$because they got him for a small amount. Pjanic and De Sciglio are trash. This board doing its best to destroy this club by any means necessary.

So many clubs are after Todibo because they know we want/need to sell and he's available for a good price. If our stance would be we don't want to sell but if someone would offer a really good money like 40-50m we're willing to negotiate then there wouldn't be many interested clubs. He's not as good as people believe but for 20m he's worth a risk. Or even more so if he'll be part of a swap deal for a player another team want to get rid off like Pjanić. Sure they would take Todibo even if he'll never play for them.

Barcelona like De Sciglio because of his versatility and his experience. The Italian has real options to join Bar?a. [md]

Dark times ahead, Abidal out dawg
