Im pretty sure Bruno has spanish citizenship and btw I wouldn't describe him as a workhouse even though he work hard. One can argue that his passing is better than that of Frenkie and Arthur. If he available he is my first choice for the midfield and Lyon tend to ask for reasonable prices for their players

Didn't know he has a Spanish passport. So non-EU spots wouldn't be a problem then.

I still don't see Lyon selling him so soon after his arrival with two of their other starters on the verge of leaving. They usually keep their players for 2-3 seasons before they consider selling them.

Yeah it's by no means perfect, I just think it fixes a lot of our major problems relatively easily. In this team Messi can be afforded freedom to stay up as more of a RF/ST. Griezmann drifting to the right to help that side out when messi does this would be fine with the 2 cdm's in place. I wouldn't rely on Dembele I just can't see us getting rid of him, I'd start Fati and Braithwaite ahead of him tbh

Well, if healthy I don't have a problem with Dembele starting but by now we all know what chances of him staying fit for most of the season are. I agree he's staying though unless we'll loan him to get rid of his wages. Let's hope he'll prove us all wrong, stay fit and have a great season so we can sell him for whatever we can get with only a year left on his contract next year. I still don't trust him to stay healthy longterm so I'd consider renewing his contract. Maybe I'll change my mind if he'll score something like 20+ goals but I won't hold my breath.

Could definitely say he's got some workhorse characteristics.

Hes much weaker technically, but more physical. Looks more like a cross between CM and box to box to me - nothing like Arthur at all.

He's not much weaker technically, infact I'd say his passing is clearly better and he's very much a deep lying playmaker. He does bring physical characteristics but that's rather secondary

Bruno has only played 5 games for Lyon. Ridiculous we might be interested in him right now, so soon after an 18m transfer. You just don't pay Lyon a premium after 5 games.

It's not like we don't have scouts flooded in Brazilian and would of missed Bruno.

Remember some rumours that we were interested in him before he signed with Lyon. He is very good though but no way Lyon let him go though. But we should follow him closely IMO as I think his potential is very, very high and the few games for Lyon clearly showed it.

Nope. We don't need AM because we have Leo. What we really need is one solid defensive midfielder to pair with Frenkie. Most likely our system will change to 4-2-3-1.

They're not getting Hazard money, they can forget that. They'll need to get some money to sign Sancho. Their owners have invested too much money in the Bucs and Brady to care about giving Utd anything to do with.
