Actually insane how Gnabry has improved and matured.

Arsenal let him go when he was 21 for 5M. That's less than we got for Marlon.

Puts into perspective that a 21 year old is far from done. One player who comes to mind is Alena, 22 years old and haven't done much yet. Despite him probably not reaching Gnabry's level, we for sure would get more than 5M for him today.

No we most certainly do not.
We would still had been outplayed and outscored by Bayern.

Yes, two new players if they are the right ones for our needs ie runners in the first line would solve 90% of our issues and magically make us look like a new team. They would make the defence and midfield look 10x better by stretching the pitch for them and giving them more space to play in and helping them get out. What happened against Bayern was that they pressed high without worrying about attacks behind them and we basically played in our own half because we couldn't get out. That requires extreme technical qualities, 10x Xavi would not be able to get out in that case. With two runners in the first line they wouldn't dare to play a high line which would give our midfields and defence more time and space and they look much much better. If they play the highline, then just play a ball in behind and we are almost 1v1 with the keeper.

Simple concept really. Two new players of the right profile (outlets, runners in the first line) like Aubameyang, Gnabry, Mane, Salah, Werner, Raul Jimenez, Mbappe, Pedro, Villa, whoever solve 90% of our issues.

Alba ,sadly, is still one of the best LB around.
That position is really limited.
