It would be stupid to sell Araujo. We would get less that what he is worth, don't think we could get over 30 mil for him, given his contract status, and clubs knowing that Barca is desperate for money. Also his replacement wouldn't cost less than 60 mil.
If we don't renew Araujo, the only losers in that deal would be Barca.

If he is as good as some think then club would easily get 30m for him.
A club that wants Araujo will pay what they think he is worth and not worry about Barca needing the money or him being out of contract in a year so much unless they are sure he would wait for them.
Ilaix went for nearly 20m with a year to go. Araujo should go a lot higher than that.

And Kroos went for 25m with a year to go. But even if club get 30m, that won't be a good deal. To get a decent replacement we would need to spend twice that amount, at least.
EPL clubs are offering him 2 or 3 times the wages Barca offers, while no body is offering that for Christensen for example, and he would come on a free. Losing a defender of Araujos profile will be a huge blow, there aren't many players currently that have a similar profile.

Kroos was 8 years ago fair leap in fees since then.
Would be expecting more than 10m odd of a difference if clubs think he is as good as made out having year left would barely make a difference.
No one has any idea what Araujo has been offered or Christensen was offered.
Cannot believe at all that EPL teams have been offering 8m net and the figures reported and if they are they clearly rate him high enough to pay a big fee.
Cant really argue teams are throwing money at him to go but wouldnt pay a big fee this summer. Doesnt add up and year left wont make a big difference in that scenario.

In hindsight we should have done more to try to get Vlahovic and make him wait till the summer. Not sure if we ever were seriously interested. Or maybe he just wanted to go to Juventus anyway.

David is ok, not sure if worth 70m though. Osimhen looks like a low IQ footballer who would struggle here imo.
I still like Darwin Nunez (not just because he scored last night) too. Probably wouldn't pay crazy money Benfica will want for him though. Should have really bought him when we've signed Braithwaite.
