I'm sick of this clubs la liga fetish. Club wants Guidi Rodriguez. I'd take Amrabat over Guidi anyday.

Just stupid rumours imo. The only La Liga player Xavi wants is Zubimendi and I wouldn't mind him. Not for 60m though and he doesn't want to leave Sociedad now that he has a chance to play CL football with them so won't happen.

He's a solid destroyer. I think the Albanian chap mentioned on a free will offer similar.

Thing is, to go for a LaLiga mid player (and I did mention Guido months back to be fair) you might as well go to South America and bite the bullet on Fabricio.

Because Guido will not be cheap.

Not sure tbh. One year left on the contract and on a pretty high wages at Betis who also need to offload players to make new signings. Think he should be available for 10-15m and/or maybe include players like Nico and Abde in deal. Still don't think we'll go after him though.

Madrid signed their Benzema replacement from Espanyol. We're just joining the trend.

It's more likely that this is a leak from the agency to get a better transfer fee from the likes of Almeria though, while we have no need to public deny as it allows us to work on our true targets with media distracted on their latest story for a few days.

Getting down to names like Guido and Darder (ok, probably agent invented) just show how poorly we planned replacing Busi.

Our planning was basically to hope to keep Busi playing as long as possible, crossing our fingers that he would stay due to what is deferred and has to be paid.

Darder would be more an alternative to Gundo than replacement for Busi imo.
