15/20m is a big difference though.

And that's if both sell for those figures in example. May be more/less.

Dont really care who goes though as long as right personnel comes in to replace

I'm with you though that I'm not seeing Kounde as this indispensable CB so far this season, and have no issues with a sale. If there's something we have shown is that we have consistency in finding CB opportunities.

Linked to Arthur Vermeeren again. Probably because we'll play against his team next week.

Barça will sign a projection midfielder in the next summer market and Arthur Vermeeren, from Antwerp, was one of the players who were managed in a short list of options. After the arrival of Deco, the Belgian international became not a priority but is still considered an interesting possibility for its projection and price. Barça is aware that he could lose the player already in this January market since Arsenal is considering advancing the operation of his signing for about 15 million euros.

Vermeeran could be on his way to Arsenal this January market.

Your opinion on Akor Adams? @Porque

7 goals in 10 games for Lorient after they've signed him from Lillestrom last summer. Looks like a potential Chelsea target to me.

I'm aware of Akor but haven't watched Montpellier. Recall watching his HL and not being mightily impress. Still can't grumble at selling Elye Wahl and spending a fraction of that on this guy who is scoring for fun.

Might be too old for Boehly though, he might be more interested in Junior Kroupi!

Linked to Alvaro Montoro again.

Barça would be very well positioned to sign the talented Vélez Sarsfield midfielder Álvaro Montoro. According to 'La Gazzetta dello Sport', Roma have tempted the player
who could be released as he has not yet signed a professional contract, but the Blaugrana club has every chance to hire him whenever he decides to leave Argentina. He is a midfielder who has a very refined technique and who is compared to Andrés Iniesta for his ball handling.

What's the deal with him? Not in the U17 WC side. Those videos he looks very good but are as old as Fati, the kid is 16 now.

Talking of young mids. Quim looks very good to me. Can see why he has trained with the first team.

It's time for silly international break rumors.

Rehashing the old Zubimendi and Bruno Guimaraes news but two new "low cost" options linked to us are Mats Wieffer (Feyenoord) and Ederson dos Santos (Atalanta).

He reminds me of Van Bommel.

Good player but not really a DM.

Weiffer highlights is underwhelming tbh, a bit sluggish and Romeu-esque tbh.
Ederson one looks good, his numbers from fbref is a bit surprising in comparison to highlights. seems more of a destroyer who can score some goals if I judge by his numbers. But his passing doesn't seem great.
Didn't watch either but neither seem exiting tbh

Celta has begun negotiations with Al Ahli of Saudi Arabia for the return of Gabri Veiga , on loan until the end of this season, to the team led by Rafa Benítez, sources close to the club informed Efe . negotiation. Gabri Veiga's prominence in the Saudi Pro League has not been as expected

The sand isn't always yellower on the other side.

Saying that. Opportunity.

Claudio Echeverri dismantling Brazil in the U-17 World Cup.
We need to sign guys like him and Estevao Willian. Basically do what Real Madrid did by loading up on super talents.

Sure some of them probably won't work out, but it's better than spending the same amount on mid players.

To be fair to the likes of Raphina, Torres and Lewy they stabilized our sporting situation. Now I agree, we need to gamble heavily as worldclass players aren’t available (for anyone, really).

Was thinking more towards the future yeah. Vitor Roque is that type of signing I am talking about for example. More of that hopefully.

Estevao is definitely in our agenda with who is agent is and brokering the Roque move.

His BO is 60m, so it is basically an arms race of who pays the most on top of this. 18 months till he can move to Europe so you would expect we could in theory broker a deal for 2 summers time.

Echeverri was the star of the game though. Another we have been tracking along with most of Europe. I don't think he ends up here, not to mention he is a bit undersized too.

From the tournament we have signed the Malian Ibrahim Diarra to be fair, who at this age group looks a spectacular player. Watch him (them) tomorrow.

I wrote that in 11 May 2023

Buy:
Evan Ndicka free transfer (DC) he transfered to Roma
Alejandro Grimaldo free transfer (LB) transfered to Leverkusen
Paulo Dybala 12m€ (release clause) (AMC) still in Roma
Marcus Thuram free transfer (RFC) transfered to Inter

some people laughed at me here.
now these players are doing their best in their club
we had to buy these players cause we need this kind of players

anyway maybe we can offer 70-80m€ to buy for the next transfer window if we have money!!!!!!!
