That piece of shit Shitverde wanted a small squad to indulge his entitled seniors and now we're left with this mess.
Even if early elections are called and Barto is kicked out it will take at least 2-3 seasons to rebuild.

It’s a ‘catch 22’ situation to use an American term. On the one hand, the only available and economic options (Angel+Perez) are nowhere near the level required to play here and contribute on a long term basis (arguably).
On the other hand, we also need to consider the present situation, which is our limited options in attack. It’s a precarious situation, especially if we sustain a couple injuries upfront. What do we do then ?.
So imo, we go the route of signing either of the two. To dismiss it as panic would be naive and foolish since in this case we still have aspiration of silverware this season. God forbid, we lose Messi or Greizmann and Fati to injury.

Apart from challenging for silverware, a couple ko's up front and we could end up in a dog fight to secure CL qualification or Europa league.
You can talk slick all you want now but it's not that far away from being a real possibility if you look at the table. But let's see how it plays out.

Totally agree. We lose a match and then it snowballs. We have a problem with the defense too. Umtiti is fragile, Semedo seems to be picking up niggling injuries. This season could get even worse.

Di Maria always blows hot and cold. On his day he is almost unplayable but there are many occasions when he just disappears.
Still better than the crap we currently have.
I'll never know why we got rid of Malcolm and Perez. Those two could have been treated alot better.
