I'll pick none.

It seems no one, including great coaches like Pep and VdB, realizes that you cannot continue to play with two attacking fullbacks and not get scathed on the CA. It leaves a 2 on 2 at the back and leaves CBs woefully exposed, as both Madrid teams exploited against us as did the Dutch exploit against Spain.

We need a more balanced and defensive minded RB, again Aurier would fit perfectly, or we change our shape. But a 4-3-3, 4-2-3-1, 4-3-2-1 etc. with two attacking fullbacks will get opened up time and again now that teams expect it. In other words, we need either a) a more defensive minded back four or b) a formation that allows us the two fullbacks to go forward freely without exposing the center. I've posted it before in the past but if we wanna stick with Alba and Alves overlapping out wide, we should try a 3-1-4-2 (aka 3-5-2). Problem is that we need a well rounded CB who is faster than Bartra and Piqué but can also play the ball like they can.

Marcos isn't bad by any means and he'd be a good fit here but it doesn't make sense going after him since P$G hate us and particularly players like Benatia, Laporte, and Mangala would go for the same price
