If we sign Douglas, he'll only join next year when Dani leaves I think. To be honest I don't give a sh!t if we sign this Douglas dude. He will get benched anyway by Alves or by Montoya.

20 minutes compilation of Douglas
Many people here saying he's shit, however, I've decided to check his whoscored stats:
2013: 25 (1) apps, 7.27 rating
2014: 10 apps, 7.45 rating
So, whoscored.com stats suggest he's actually not that bad
you can check him here: http://www.whoscored.com/Players/74533/History/Douglas
For example, Azpilicueta's average rating is 7.26, Juanfran's is 7.07, Carvajal's is 7.2 (league only)
Agreed with Cesc's stats there - sometimes they are just numbers. No matter how bad Leo would play to his standars - his whoscored rating would be just as high as usually. You should watch him regularly. Cesc also did have some amazing stats for Barça, just as an example. And Cesc is infinitely better than douglas. The guy is bad.
Barcelona and Liga sources deny Barcelona can't make another big signing because of financial fair play rules. Still far from limits. [rac1]
Because they want some cheap publicity?Ataide (vice president Sao Paulo): "We've asked for Douglas to stay longer, we want a one-year loan, but there's nothing concrete yet."
Ataide (vice president Sao Paulo): "Douglas deal is almost done, but you never know what happens. Transfer fee 6M, plus 2M incentives." [jp]
Why is he so transparent with the deal?
Still can't get my head round this Douglas thing. Has it been confirmed yet?
No it hasn't. And I will forever deny that it's happening until it shows up on the club's website.
