I'm inclined to give him the benefit of doubt and get the player he wants after leading our team to a treble.

Masch is a better CB for Barca than he is a DM where Busquets is far ahead of him.

I wouldnt take Ramos for him, he is the heart beat of this Barca side and the leader.

It's increasingly annoying watching people blindsighted by Laporta's old glory, UNICEF and Abidal. Guy was corrupt and used the club for political purposes. Half (or is it alomost everyone) of his initial board left him because they saw who he was and gl to you if you think he can muster fraction of that quality in personnel.
Only thing he did after his presidency is divorce and getting hitched with a old skanky pornstar.

Naive is thinking that Laporta is all evil while others aren't, which you do. It's also increasingly annoying how some people have certain biases and can't stand others not agreeing with them and resorting to such patrionizing comments.

And yet we have people backing Bartomeu? Sorry, but I'll take Laporta any day over him, that's my opinion and if we have to compare him to others then you can say he is the 'lesser evil'. Others might not, but they can stand for whatever they want and if you look throughout the recent history of the club then you can put almost every President in the same bracket. Maybe we should disband the current system then?

The problem is that there seem to be no alternative besides Bartomeu and Laporta. We have four candidates besides them. That's three too many.

I'm sorry, you must have got your impression from somewhere else, not on BarcaForum.
Hardly anyone backs Bartomeu here. Even jamdav sees flaws in him. And I've been critical of Bartomeu too. On the other side there are many blindsighted Laporta fans.
Posts like "Laporta save us", or ratface Bartomeu" , etc.

I agree the "laporta is our saviour" talk is annoying as is the sentimentality regarding things like sponsorship and even abidal (he might be a bust as a member of senior staff, no guarantees). Still he is preferrable to bartomeu from what I've seen.

Btw it's kinda like real politics, the good people/parties are all spread out/don't have media and money on their side so people end up voting for whatever is the lesser of two evils among the "big two".
