I think most people are dreaming of Samuel Umtiti from Lyon at the moment as that CB/LB. Isnt an Abidal type what we need there?

Yeah we have Vidal now. I am just saying we should have signed him last season instead of Douglas. He is at Manchester united now. No way we are getting him for a decent amount.

Last season it was not. We renewed alves out of desperation. Roberto was a surprise, noone could have guessed he will do that great at the start of the season let alone last season.

Am I the only one who thinks we are good to go come january?Maybe the LB position needs a better backup than mathieu but I feel that mathieu is just going through a bad patch and can be good enough for backup.

Yeah id agree with that. Summer is where we will see the major business happen of course
