Gundogan I can understand because of the back condition looming over him, but Benatia? Dude's been on beast mode since the beginning of last year. Rami, on the other hand, has been laughably bad. If you don't want Benatia to play for us, then who would you bring?

If we buy ANYONE I will be shocked. I actually think this Jan is a good time to sign someone. Take Luiz for example. If he has a good world cup Chelsea will insist on at least 40 million. No way will we pay that. Our valuation would be 25-30 million.

We should have signed Zouma. Luiz would be great for us ditto Benatia.I think Barca will probably look for a more low key CB though. Someone like Fazio or Ottamendi.

Don't think we'll make a big name signing anyway so it shouldn't affect us. Besides that, we've also signed Villa & Neymar before a World Cup.. if we are to buy a star I'm sure we'll do it before the WC again, as DonAK said.
