welp its official.. RM negotiating for Pogba. He's gone now.

and we get Denis Suarez...

I would prefer it if people like you didn't use "we" when referring to Barca. Just go buy a Real Madrid jersey, already.

Denis Suarez is an excellent signing and his joining our first team has been a long time coming. He is wanted by both the coach and the fans. Pogba is just another Galactico signing (If a deal even happens) and is unlikely to solve Madrid's real problem of centering themselves around a consistent big game flop like Ronaldo.

Barcelona are willing to pay 10M buyout fee of Atletico B centre back Theo Hernandez (18). Frenchman has been training with first team. [md]

Bigger name doesn't mean better fit

Real go for big names all the time How's that worked out over the years?

This will sound bad, but:
1. we had Messi, a cheat-codes since 2006
2. we had insane luck with La Masia in the last 10-ish years

Mix those 2 and it is "easy" to create a good team that fits well together and add some expensive and some cheaper players.

I want to say, it isn't that simple and black and white as:
We are buying cheap but smart.
And Real spend more than us and yet we won way more La Ligas lately.
Again, we had Messi...

Imagine a world without Messi, who knows how a recent history would look like?
Maybe even a dummy like Perez would have end as the best president ever, who knows?

So, in the future, when Messi and La Masia talents will be gone, it doesn't mean that we need to buy superstars every summer.
But, it will be hard to fight with players like Denis, if your biggest (and filthy rich) opponent will buy Pogbas summer after summer.
Superstar every summer won't be an answer, but we will need to splash a lot in the future also...

Some Juve fans say he's gone while others say it's Raiola trying to be smart again.

The only reason he has to go to RM is Zizou. Oh well, we'll just have to work harder at La Masia if this happens.

Why not just promote Rodri? He's been an integral part of our B team and if he played for Atletico B he'd probably be in the same spot as this Atletico kid.

May be because that kid is actually better player?
I don't know him but if we are willing to pay such money it probably means we really thinks highly of him

Two champions leagues in 3 years?

Although they were both terribly ugly wins and last season was the easiest path to a CL final, ever....followed by the most difficult path, ever, by Barca.

Would add Iniesta to that. Iniesta is almost as big part to our succes as Messi.
Iniesta is nearing retirement and we have noone even near his quality to replace him.
Denis and Rafinha are not even near first team quality, even further from CL quality.
We will have to splash big money to get the biggest talent, or a star player, to get anything even close.
Unfortunally theres nothing out there once Pogba gets sold.

They signed Kroos, we signed Rakitic, and won more.

Hopefully it'll have a similar effect this time too.

The younger brother of Lucas Hernandez who's also playing for Atletico Madrid.

Plays mostly as a LB but can play as a CB as well.
