Tell me exactly why we so desperately need to cross the ball now. You want us to become Stoke City?
To add it in our arsenal, so that opponents really dont know what to do, they crowd the center we have somebody to cross to in the box, they crowd the flanks we attack them through the center. Bayern score a lot from crosses but we dont equate them to stoke in their way of playing. It is all about adding variables and making our attack diverse. Stoke use only that strategy.
If we dont need one, then why did alves and alba cross the ball 22 times vs sociedad in CDr? Why did we cross a lot vs atletico madrid and why do we generally cross a lot when we face parked buses?

If we were ever to get a striker i would want one who is pacey, young below 26, good at dribbling, intelligent with his passing and runs, versatile and ofcourse physical and a good header of the ball. Too bad we missed out on lewandowski, not saying there isnt any striker that fits the category, there are many of them

No way we are going to buy a striker after we paid over 100M for Neymar and also Messi, Neymar, Alexis, Pedro and Fabregas are scoring regularly this season.

It is not about scoring, it is about varrying tactics

To quote myself i said

Amongst the top ten teams in europe we are the easiest to stop tactically, they just park the bus, crowd the center and they either win or draw. The same cant be said about other top teams.
It is not that hard to score against valladolid, almeria, that is what alexis and pedro have been doing. We want a breakthrough, to be able to punish those parked buses

We never had trouble scoring against valladolids and almerias. We have always managed to do that. It scoring against parked buses, physical teams and teams that crowd the center. And if we advance past city we will face a lot of those

Didn't we punish City already for parking the bus?

No! City parked the bus in the first half, and during that time we neither scored nor had more than 2 attempts. We scored after that red card and city decided to attack/ look for goal and there was no parked bus at all!
Once again you are wrong

And people think that replacing Messi with a "tall" striker is going to change anything? Who would seriously play someone like Mandzukic or Higuain when you have Messi available.

Semi-Neutral

Sir Alupp Heynrguson
Mandzukic, jackson martinez, higuain, cavani, oscar cardozo, diego costa, Aubameyang

pacey, young below 26, good at dribbling, intelligent with his passing and runs, versatile and ofcourse physical and a good header of the ball

Bayern wouldn't sell Mandzukic, his passing and dribbling is nothing noteworthy, and he's 27. Martinez would cost 50 million+, and is 27 (haven't watched him so can't say how good he is). Higuain isn't good at dribbling and isn't really physical or good in the air, and he's 26. PSG would never sell Cavani, he's not particularly pacey and he's 27. Oscar Cardozo is 30, and isn't even that good. Atletico wouldn't sell Costa to us, and he's used to a completely different game than our players are (and he's a dick, but that's not really an argument). And Aubameyang is better on counters where he can use his pace, and we have Sanchez and Neymar for that.

Again! Who said we are going to replace messi?
All i am saying is that we have a tactical evolution where we can score in different ways, we just modify our line up and tactics and we have mess dribbling, making runs, scoring, and we have a striker who can dribble, make runs and head those crosses that alves sends!

That is something for scouts to do. These are few names that i came up with in thin air. They can come up with better ones.
Or why exactly do you think bayern are getting lewandowski? That ability isvery vital
