What about Garay? He was very good yesterday against Bosnia. Had a great whole season too. Also has experience, knows La Liga, is from Argentina (Messi would accept him ), tall, strong, can score headers, read the game well, good on the ball. What else do we need? I think Benfica would sell him for max 30mil.

His other partner Sokratis should also be a good option. Despite Greece getting defeated, both their defenders played really well individually.

I was thinking about Subotic as well, but it appears that he had a horrible knee injury and hasn't played since November.
