Tf am I reading?

Alves at his best is definitely better than Lahm. His passing is as well. I'd like to see Lahm have some of the jizz-worthy passing intuition needed for the Alvessi connection. Lahm is only better at crossing and defensive positioning (Alves' tackling is superior).

Also, Lahm is not the most intelligent. Being 'correct' is not being the most intelligent. Xavi, Busi, and Messi have always been definitively more intelligent and there are probably even more players in football smarter than he is.

Alves's silly crosses make him second best passer in Europe behind Lahm (in terms of fullbacks)

Dortmund plays so incredibly attractive its insane. Aubameyang doing flickflackchoprabonabyciclescorpionkickpasses and shit, Weigl absolutely killing it at CM in former Schweinsteiger-style, Reus, Mikhi, Gündogan, Kagawa even Schmelzer doing amazing. THeir football is full of through passes, one-twos, skills, fast paced direct counters, pin point deliverys, teamgoals its just fun, really amazing to watch im glad they got their 2013 form back.

BVB played like this in 2010/11 and 2011/12 in the bundesliga and in 2012/13 in the CL...the trouble was, they didn't properly replace Goetze and Lewa and they had an unreal run of injuries which completely destroyed any semblance of a starting 11.

This summer was the first they didn't sell a single important player, everyone is healthy plus they bought huge improvements at goalkeeper and defensive midfield.

It's basically the same structured team that almost won the CL...Hummels,Reus,Pisczek,Gundogan,Schmelzer...i'm not surprised by these turn of events.

Dortmund played against a newcomer, against a Gladbach that misses the spine and with a 19- and 20-year-old defender, against a noname-team from Norway and a team from Austria...

Just to get that into perspective...
