Barca plays 4-3-3 with one pivot. Pivot is Busquets. Two MC pair is Xavi and Iniesta with Xavi as holding back type MC and iniesta as AMC type MC. Is Fabregas better than these two? NO. So where he can play? Some of you had offered to play Fabregas in false 9 and Messi at RWF. Tonight we have seen the result. He is not a false 9. We see the same fact in national team. Messi is our False 9. So there is only two places where Fabregas can play? RWF or LWF? Which one ? Can he do the winger role? No because he is slow. So WHAT? He is a 35 million bench player. This is the fact.

Even if what you say is fact and the almighty truth, Messi was injured! He wasn't supposed to play! He only did because we conceded! So according to your facts, Cesc sits on the bench until Messi is unavailable, which is what happened today, so I don't get why you are complaining about...

Cesc playing false 9 with Villa on the RW and Cesc playing false 9 with Messi on the RW is completely different. However, as I had always wanted from the begining, Cesc alternating into the midfield is what I think should have been happening from the begining. Xavi and Iniesta is the clear pairing for the big games, but I would of liked Cesc to keep getting exp in the midfield. I think Iniesta is a better partner for him than Xavi, since they are both slower. Not saying he would slot in as Xavi, no one can, but I think it would work best and be effective. We never really gave it a chance or allowed it to blossum though.

At least Cesc passed the ball well (91% accuracy). He's always improving in that regard...

I think you guys should stop hating on Cesc. It's ridiculous to expect a central midfielder to perform well up front. He said himself that he's not a striker, even after the game against Mallorca and he's right, he clearly lacks speed and finishing skills compared to Messi or a great striker in general. Don't forget he's one of the main reasons why we have such a big lead in La Liga, he's just being misused because we have no alternatives.
