Inter would probably beat Girona and us easily too. Madrid is harder because the gap in squad quality might become too large, but if Madrid have injuries to their backline like now it's still very possible.
You’re comparing inter to current season breakout Girona. Again doesn’t flatter serie A. And yes, likely inter would beat us in current state but we are considered a club in crisis. Inter needs to improve a bit more and then hold on to that level over a few years.

So is Madrid and they conceded 7 goals in 2 games there. Atletico are a different team at home in ties. Simple as that.
Like Morten keeps saying, the Real Madrid fixtures are Pathetico's cup final.

Tottenham regularly beats Man City every season for years now. Means nothing.

Yeah, but that's because playing RM is the highlight of Atletico's seasons these days.

Its doesnt mean much in terms of other games.

Nah, their home strenght in Europe is established by a pattern.

Beat prime Barca 2 times in CL. Beat prime Klopp Liverpool. Like not by luck, but actually dominate these great teams at home. 0-0 vs City 2 years ago in a very close one. Beat Juventus 2-0. Beat Bayern of Pep. So many games...

They usually beat teams at home and stink up the place in away games.

That was years ago, these days Atletico aren't up to much.

So if Atletico are trash, Girona are just breakout, we are in crisis, and those are 3 of the 4 best teams in Spain, what is that saying about LL? One team league?

Atletico is 4th and Inter is the best in Italy.

The big surprise is if Atletico knocks them out.

You don't understand. It doesn't go by positions.

Inter is Tier 1 Serie A team the last many years, so is Atletico.
Tier 1 in Spain is the big 3, and Tier 2 are the Sevillas, Villareals, Sociedads, Bilbaos, etc
Similarly in Italy, Tier 2 are the Romas, Lazios, Fiorentinas etc

And I am talking about football:
You, and all the rest, that are so eager to prove to the world that LL is not that bad, you should not be content with the kind of shit-ball Simeone serves, as representative of Tier 1 teams in Spain

Yes, I expected this reply after i read what I wrote and fair enough. But again, something to be said about concistency. Things could look different next season. For barca it just takes not fudging up scouting next coach.

shit-ball.

Defensive managers of the game, great ones, add spice to the game. Simeone is a huge manager. Nobody likes to see 10 Pep copies, Klopp, and Pep kick it about.
