CL semis: Bayern - Barca 3-2 (3-5 agg.)

Lewy is posting as if he'll play for a start.

I don't like this victim mentality from bayern fans. It will discredit our win if we win and elevate their win if bayern win. Yet when we had the similar circumstances in 2013 nobody cared.

Nobody's trying to discredit anything. If you win the whole thing, you are considered the best, unless you're Chelsea. In a few years nobody will even care who was misseing in which leg. People will only and rightfully see who won the whole thing.

It is a broken jaw and nose plus concussion! Even if he would somehow recover to some degree within the next 6 days, he would never play as he was playing over the course of the past few weeks. The bones are still broken and no mask could ever absorb the impact/shock from a proper header without him feeling great anguish. Also the field of view would be hindered, I guess?

Ofc he won't play, he'll have to were a mask and cap like Cech and he'll still be in danger of making his injuries worse.

I wouldn't call the bayern team a leper even with injuries, you are very strong still.

People are mad because their pride was wounded by the 7-0 and we've been waiting for this for some time. All the bad emotions of 2013 and 2014 have been stored to unleash now. There is also the added bonus of thiago and the people who went off pep after he left us.

Doesn't change the fact that we were tremendously depleted both physically and emotionally. We've never really been a team to care about what others think of us. Most of Europe labelled us cheaters after our 2009 win against Chelsea. Didn't really stop us from saying fuck you to them and going on the win the CL.

For the record, I don't think we will destroy Bayern and I think the tie will be close. I just hope that we do destroy them for the bragging rights and personal satisfaction. :)

I love Pep and I'm sorry for him. He truly deserves better, I just hope we dont humiliated him.

That's good, one of the things I hate in football is when people don't get the credit they deserve.

If Barca beats Real in the final, nobody will be taking any credit away from this team, not after going through Shitty, PSG, "leper ;)" Bayern and the former champion.

And rightly so, if really Robbery plus Alaba and Lewa are missing one or even both ties, which it most certainly looks like atm. You cannot stomp a leper into the dust in a kickboxing match and proclaim yourself world champion afterwards. But maybe that is just me.

Anyways, as you have realized by now, I'm still VERY angry and horrified by yesterday's match which was solely decided by abhorrent refereeing. Though I also have to admit, I'm a little shocked at some of the comments I've been reading here over the past few minutes. So much withheld hatred and anger finally released. Man, I just didn't see this coming.

I'll try to explain the hatred and anger to you. 2 days ago I just watched the 7-0 goals to remind of the beast which is bayern and they were amazing but there were certain players who for some reason made us hate bayern even more due to the very disrespectful way they acted throughout the match or in their celebrations. Now dont get me wrong winning with an aggregate higher than 4-0 is a huge accomplishment but there comes a point where Bayern knew they made it to the final yet celebrated every goal likes its a CL winning goal.

I would expect that from Madrid and rightly so ( seeing as how our players celebrated the manita and history between the two clubs) but not Bayern. An example of why I want sweet revenge is because of players like Muller, that robben goal in the first leg where that asshole pushed away alba and was ecstatic for doing so and of course his "in your face " celebrations. Nothing would excite me more than seeing that asshole cry

Well, thanks for trying to make me understand. I appreciate the effort. ;)

I don't think we will destroy bayern, it will be very close. But if we could do it i want us to go all out and humiliate them. Pep or no pep. Does bayern have some revenge against barca in 2013? no they just want to prove the world that they are freakishly good. Same with germany against brazil. You want to score as many goals as possible. We need to do the same, this teams needs a place in history.

Ryu, you have to understand the 7-0 hurt us so much and some of us have been tormented by Bayern fans worse than how Mueller has been tormenting Dante over the 7-1 at the WC because of that (myself included) that some of us really despise Bayern as a result.

Other than that, I think the schadenfreude you saw expressed by some Barca fans over the injuries suffered by Bayern is pretty natural and normal. You might be one of very few Bayern fans to want to see two teams fighting it out in full strength, but I have no doubt many, if not the majority of Bayern fans would love to see the likes of MSN etc. getting injured or suspended for the games.

Hi everyone. A FCB fan here. It's nice to play Barca again. sweet memories, hopefully we make it this time to the final although it will be tough given the injury crisis.
well I have been doing some reading and I didn't come here to cry about the bad luck with the injuries. But what surprises me here is the arrogance of some Barca fans. it looks like the game is over in paper, right? I thought Real Madrid fans were the most arrogant, but boy some people here know nothing about football. It doesn't matter if Bayern have a depleted squad, history remembers winners and after the final whistle, it's gone. so there are no excuses, but the game is won on the pitch, you need to win it first. To be honest, if I have to pick one team to win it other than Bayern, that will be Barca given their form and nice football they are producing. But I don't know where does the hate come from here, is that simply because Bayern humiliated you? You have to respect a team like Bayern. There is a reason why you have won only once against them in your own stadium, and that one time was a very unique situation with a Bayern team in a total crisis and on top of that all the defense injured. However, you have a very good chance to progress now. I would only hope Barca thinks the same as you going for a revenge, but they are pros, they don't do such mistakes.

This.

I think some of us are getting a bit delusional since yesterday as if we would easily beat Bayern (I mostly blame Ryu for sweetening us up with his dire predictions for Bayern  ). Wake up, without Robben Bayern is still among the very best teams in the world, it will be tough, especially considering our defense and midfield still have issues that might cost us. We will take the games very seriously, they will turn out to be very tough and difficult for us, with or without Robben. There is no place for complacency at Barca, not at any time.

As if. Then fans are stupid then.

Do I have to hate the Barca fans that trashed PSG after that 5-1? When barca loses, will I have to go around sprouting BS because holala I've been tormented as a PSG fan?

You can't be serious. Some football fans are retarded, no need to copy them.

Some comments I read at lunch on twitter about Lewa's injury are beyond nonsense. Can't believe adults can say so much shit.

Then when Barca loses (because it will happen one day again), more fans of other clubs will trash barca fans and some of us here will go "ohalala we're tormented". The jerk circle that I hate in football fandom.

I don't feel any less nervous because of these injuries, their squad depth is way better than PSG's, Muller, Gotze, Thiago are still a goal threat, defence with Boeteng and Benatia is pretty solid, let's say they grind out 0-0 or 1-1 draw at Camp Nou and anything can happen in Germany.
