ter Stegen has really not shown anything to prove that he should be the undisputed started at Barca. His supposedly hugely impressive distribution right now sits at 83.8% pass accuracy (in UCL over 6 games - with 21 passes per game) while the clueless Bravo is at 82.4% (in La Liga over 21 games - with 19 passes per game).
Ter Stegen attempts more longer passes, than Bravo (like his almost assist against Atletico). It's those long passes, that are so amazingly accurate.
I would take the better shot stopper over the better distributer .people keep discussing who has the better passing skills and forget the main fundamentals needed for a GK
MATS will move to starting spot sooner or later .but as it stands now one can't deny Bravo has been really good here
According to Squawka, the average pass length for Bravo over 21 La Liga games is 29.52 m. For ter Stegen over 6 UCL games is 30 m. Not a big difference.
Maybe you didn't notice but Neymar's penalty incident yesterday arose from Bravo's quick thinking and perfect long pass to Messi at the halfway line.
Horrible distribution. But he is still in top 5 gk over Europe.
Bravo attempts as many long passes but they're rarely accurate or not accurrate at all.Ter Stegen attempts more longer passes, than Bravo (like his almost assist against Atletico). It's those long passes, that are so amazingly accurate.
