That doesn't even make sense... The middle belongs to Messi, so bringing Lewa would be Villa/Henry all over again or probably worse (not saying they were bad for Barca, but pushing them to wing wasn't bringing the best out of them), and to this very day Deulofeu offers very little compared to Pedro and Alexis...

Regarding Tello, no one is saying he shouldn't get a solid run of games, is just that right now it's not the right time to do it... We need a rock solid start of the season, getting the team dynamics going, building momentum, and for that task Pedro is a more logical choice than Tello due to his experience...

Or alternatively Messi could play behind a 9. It would take something major for a coach to change that though. Ultimately with Messi as a false 9 we need inside forwards/wingers who can consistently beat their man, which Neymar will hopefully excel at.

He would start at all clubs with the exception of Dortmund, Bayern and Real. Look at Chelsea's lineup or Utd's or City's, you have the likes of Torres, Welbeck and Navas who start for them and Pedro is good enough to play in those teams and do very well. He also starts for Spain and is their top scorer in qualifying, so that is 4 coaches who rate Pedro.

Pedro scored very important goals for Barca!
- His 1st goal for the team was at the San Mames against Bilbao in the super cup which gave us advantage in the 2nd leg (2009/10).
- the winner vs shakhtar is uefa super 2009
- the equalizer against "Estupensgdkdl,d;ljdlkd" in the Clubs World Cup Final which gave us the chance to win the SEXTUPLE!!!
- the 1st goal in Champions League Final 2011
- 2 goals vs Bilbao in Spanish Cup Final 2012
- 5 goals in the clasico vs Real Madrid
- 5 goals in the derby vs Espanyol
etc etc etc...

For Messi to score braces and hatt-ricks, you need players like Pedro and Alexis to do the hard work on the wings!


note: Pedro who had a free role with Spain last season, scored 11 goals in 12 games including 3 vs uruguay and a winner vs France away!!!

I'd rather sell Alexis instead of Pedro since he is younger and has had constant offers and we can get more money out of his transfer.
Barca can't get Lewandowski since quite more financially potent clubs are awaiting for him already, Bayern, R$al, etc. It is roumored Bayern already bought him for the next season.
