And you are clueless if you make such assumptions considering his state of mind, which he even admitted to. It's his lack of effort that made his overall performance appear the way it did for the 90 minutes of the game.

Are you telling me he did not try hard enough in this game? I beg to differ, you could see from the first minute on he was very eager to be "the man" especially after the barca results. You could see that by his uncontrolled shooting from anywhere and his spastic "tricks".

Ronaldo is an effective player when used in a certain way, very effective, but he does not have the talent of a true great player.

Anybody that watches him and judges him with an open mind will admit just how good he is. You dont have to like his character or personality but his talent is unquestioned.

He didnt play well yesterday, it happens. Nobody plays well all the time.
