Alves: "Neymar rumours? I'm following that soap opera too, let's hope it ends soon, and that it's a happy end for everyone." [rac1]

Alves: "I have a soft spot for Montoya. He works very hard, I recognize myself in him when I was young, he's the immediate future of Barça."

Alves: "Twitter account hacked? Yes, they were tweeting very strange things. And I know that I'm strange, but not that strange (laughs)"

Alves: "Messi-Villa? It's a non-story, but it sells. Madrid press prefers to talk about that than about the 8 points. We're used to it."

Alves: "Song still has to learn our defensive movements, that's why we keep an eye on him. He nonetheless has been doing quite well."

Who would have thought Barca hit the jackpot with this 30 million signing back in the summer of 2008.

Oh we all knew, Bojan...I still feel bad for the people who never saw him at Sevilla, I think he was even scarier there

You think he was a machine now but he used to have this ferocity to dominate both ends of that right side that I haven't seen in a long time here - perhaps it's just age has caught up with him...That Sevilla side was really entertaining

He's often forgotten in the bigger picture but his arrival coincided with Pep's emergence as skipper and the era that has followed...He's been an integral part of the success

well....welll....well....

that match was nothing, Barca played that match having already won both Liga and CL that season. it was delayed till end of the season because of the heavy rain on the original date of it.

it's this golazo that still hurts me so much

that was a really bad night for me.

Rumours saying he turned down PSG over the summer to stay with Barça. He said he wants to stay here until Barça want to kick him out and then he's going to retire in Brazil.
Awesome by Dani even if only half of it is true :worthy:

Barçapocalypse NOW!
It wouldn't surprise me... Dani seems like a nice guy off the pitch and more than once he has proved his loyalty to the club, so it's great to have him...

Will need to improve his marking. He left acres of space for Trochowski and was directly to blame for the Sevilla opener.

His overall play was just really bad today. But he'll probably play against Benfica so he has a chance to redeem himself just before el Clasico :)

Uh.. Looking at the highlights again I have to say Dani made more mistakes than I thought. Was caught off guard for first Negredo's shot that went wide (Song covered him there). And then in the 19th minute left Trochowski completely alone (action ended with Rakitic pass) but fortunately the pass never came to him. I mean he doesn't even look around him to check for opposition forwards to pick for marking and I've seen him doing this quite a few times this season.
So the Sevilla goal which came after his 3rd mistake wasn't a coincidence at all.

Barçapocalypse NOW!
He had a dismal display tonight... I was specially angered at their first goal where he didn't even attempt to block the shot, and he didn't add anything in offense either... Better get his focus next week...

yeah i agree, he was a little lost and unfocused to me. maybe because he played against his old club, don't know. the marking in the first goal was just unbelivable. but i'm sure he will be at his best again in midweek.
