1. He is slow, old, short, lazy, no mentality.I believe the reason why Ronaldo has been successful against us recently is due to Alves.
2. He plays big factor on why Sanchez, Pedro, Villa look horrible at right wing. He overlaps them too much and forces them to defend right wing, basically turning them into work-horse fullbacks. He forces Busquets to cover for him and makes him look awful. He exposes our CBs to counter attacks through right wing.

Well, if you wanna talk about defense we have to talk about the whole picture. What effs that whole play is Xavi and Iniesta being way out of position. Xavi and piqué leave Alba one on one which is a death sentence. Xavi should be behind the 18 slightly, marking and Iniesta slightly further behind that and more to the side. Busquets would be marking the striker and Piqué Supporting alba on the byline with Dani out on Ribery but backed off a few yards as not to over commit for a back door pas and Bartra should be free. That would be the ideal here really.
