Interesting. I can understand if some cultures take offense at their celebrations but this does not justify a whole game sit out. I think Al ex was being rested.

If only he could produce something with all the opportunities he gets in the box. Great runs, settles the ball well, then garbage.

To be honest, I've never gotten the feeling he can place a cross well. Once in a blue moon, a player just happens to be in the right place that makes it look intentional. I often notice how well certain players can place crosses- bend, weight, all judged just like a quarterback throwing a pinpoint pass to a receiver in traffic. Dani just isn't one of them. He's best playing short passes to feet.
