Villa was 31, turning 32 a few months later, was on insane wages and wanted to stay in La Liga.
Zlatan was on insane wages as well and threatened he only wanted to be sold to Real Madrid.

I dont think it is taking it a bridge too far. Just wait and see. We never get a fair price for any of our players. Its in 90% of the cases "released on a free transfer" or getting about half or worse of what other big clubs get for their players. And I think it has to do with the insane wages we give them. But that cant explain why we always overpay when we buy as well, so it is probably a combination of insane wages and incompetence that causes it.
