It's a bit hilarious that they have 3LWs now and they signed a clear 9 who can't play any other position. So they have Mane, Jota, and Diaz who all play on the left the best. And who give their 2nd best level at the position they signed a 100m player on.

Mane's leaving and played centrally this season. Jota can play anywhere across the front 3. Watch games.

What about Firmino then? An impact sub?

Bobby already transitioned into a bit part role a while back. He'll stay because he loves it at Liverpool. He'll be a squad player who can play striker, false 9 and CAM(in a front 4) while chasing games. His linkup play and touch is still absolutely insane and when the midfield and attack seems disjointed, Klopp puts him on to connect the mid to the attack in typical Bobby fashion!

Right. The biggest issue with Liverpool is surely their midfield. They ought to buy one quality middielder.

What kinda mid should we go for though?

We have a world class DM Fabinho.

A nimble technically gifted CM Thiago

A brilliant Leader, midfield General Hendo.

I'd like a box to box midfielder who scores goals like Prime Fellaini bringing an aerial threat and a great bench option too. Would like Milinkovic-Savic I guess.

Milinkovic-Savic is quality. Surely he moves from Lazio this summer? Where? Probably Juventus though.

From the first training session, we understood that he?d be one of the best strikers in the world.?

🔥 ?How I?d compare him? He?s a mix of Edinson Cavani & Luis Suarez.?

Gotta clear this up for once and all:
This isn't a panic buy at all. It's a super risky punt.

It's well known in Liverpool that Klopp is a massive admirer of this guy for a long long time. And I mean at a time when Nunez wasn't even hot property or known by people. Remember reading stuff about him thinking: "Who tf is this guy?"......this is before he became a hot topic in Football Forums or caught the eye.

One thing's for sure. This is a Klopp signing 100%. The scouts rate him too and hence they've agreed to spend big while selling Mane and a few others who'll leave.

What a massive risk!

Don't buy what Pool haters say.
Remember in this forum 90% are Pool haters, you have to filter that in when you reply.

And of course, when RM pay 100m to sign a DM, it's laughable to call signing of a CF at that price 'panic buy'
That's the prices in the market. Felix costed 120m some years back with much worse stats behind him than Nunez

As for the takes above, it's evident no one is watching Liverpool here.
Mane has been CF in the 2nd half of the season, and the whole season Liverpool played with CF either Jota or Mane.
So, yes it fits perfectly the position that already exists in Klopp's system. He has ofcourse to lean the ins and outs of Klopp's pressing, but that's another issue.

My 2 cents:
Nunez has much better technique than the super-hyped (in the forum) Norwegian tap-in merchant City bought,
and doesn't seem worse in either finishing or physicality or speed.
Hence, Klopp might get the last laugh over Pep with this transfer...

So last season was he can't score, now he can't do stepovers, lol. Keep on hating, my man will continue to prove you wrong. Big transfer coming soon.

Here we go.

Think he'll do great although if he won't and we can get him for a discount price in 2-3 years wouldn't mind it either. Don't count on us being smart enough to go after him in that case though.

If the rumoured fee/salary is correct he will got to Liverpool for equivilant of around 24m a season on books for now before any bonus.

Mot likely Barca pay more than that on books per season for Lewandowski.
