2023 signings were Alemany's, that include Roque btw.
Deco got Olmo and Pau Victor, and niether are registered for next games.
We signed them, betting on injury or money we don't have. We couldn't bet that on multiple players.
Btw, that was mainly because half of the squad we already had needed to be registered for the rest of contract. This included cobtracts if Araujo, Gavi, Inigo & Balde.
Honestly, we don't even know if he is food or bad. The guy wasn't only handed a bad situation, he was handed a stalled one with no maneuver to work with.

He himself basically confirmed that Barca won't even try to sign a striker, and could have said no to that fraud. Failed all his others signings. Plus lying the mafia fraud was a replacement for Gavi, that is on record.

Not sure about his negotiating skills (but not like our previous SDs were great at that either) but I think he has good eye for talent. Has signed some good players for Barca B which is the only way he can really operate. His hands with first team transfers are mostly tied.
Nothing will happen in January, we'll have problems to even register Olmo for second half of the season.
Would like to believe situation will improve before summer transfer window but hard to expect anything with this club. We'll probably still be 20 or 30m short.

What eye for talent? The brazilian fraud was his only signing. The rest are Laporta or others.

Roque was actually signed under Alemany, not Deco.
