Captain Coloccini leads Newcastle to 3rd place in the league, and still UNBEATEN in the Premier League!

3-1 win away at Stoke. We only conceded due to a soft penalty, but we still have the BEST DEFENCE in the Premier League, with the least number of goals conceded!

You'll be playing Man City soon, so be prepared.

hmmm, Everton today. It will be a very tough ask to remain unbeaten for game number 11. Would be a fantastic achivement if we pull it off.

Newcastle will be 2nd place for a few hours, much longer if Sunderland draw or beat Man Utd.

However perhaps our fantastic run might come to an end today. I only say that because the football media are now giving Newcastle a lot of credit in the papers this morning. would be typical Newcastle to not let it last longer now that they have finally swalllowed their pride and given us the recognition we deserve after 10 games.

the schedule gets tough in our next 3 games; Man Utd, Man City and then Chelsea.

I think we will surprise a lot of people. It is highly likely that in those next 3 games we will lose our unbeaten run. But you never know. 3 draws would make me a very happy magpie!

I go out on a limb though and say Newcastle United will beat one of those 3 teams in our next 3 games.

lol, you think Vidic is world class.....he's only world class when he is Not playing against a striker that has pace and is not affraid to run at him with the ball. You as a Liverpool fan must remember the times Fernando Torres made vidic resort to cynical fouling, shirt pulling because he can't deal with striker with pace that takes on defenders. Torres made Vidic look average. I only say this because another pacy striker who can take people on was Obafemi Martins when he was at Newcastle. He absolutely made Vidic look non-league. Vidic did nothing but foul him cynically the whole game whenever he got skinned.

Newcastle were 2nd in the league for about an hour today. we can make it permanent when we play Man City and Man Utd in our next two games
