Our club is so predictable that we know how they work. Even if he really ends up with a 3 year deal with 9 mil wage it's bad bussiness but he'll probably be more expensive than that knowing our board.

That's another ridiculous take
HAve you looked recently at our wage structure?
And I don't mean Frenkie's and Lewa's obscence ludicrous wages.
I mean the people below

Ansu gets 14m gross, Kounde gets 13m gross, Raphina gets 12m gross, Ferran gets 10m gross, etc.
And you think Chiesa will accept 6m gross? A figure which is as much as Eric Garcia and only above Cubarsi Fermin Balde? When he is currently getting 6m NET?
Get a grip!

If he reduces to 4.5m net (per rumors), 9m gross, that would be ideal in realistic expectations

Your are not much better than our clown president who you love so much, lol. All of these players are overpaid as well. If we want to actually build a proper wage structure then injury prone squad players shouldn't get anything more than 5-6m gross. Whether he takes that or we move on. He's far from a can't miss player.

10-12m should be only for proven regular starters (so basically after they establish themselves here for 2-3 years and get extended - but not when they're already approaching their thirties - not paying them that much in their first contract at the club, because there is only one way from there) and anything more than that for world class players in their prime years which we don't have and probably won't have anytime soon. That's the only way we can get these messed up club finances back to somewhat normal in forseeable future. Yes, we'll miss out on some players initially (but we are missing on them nowaday anyway for different reasons) but after that players signing with Barca would be the ones who would actually want to play for the club and not just joining us because we pay them highest wages.

The salaries of Kunde and Raphinha - 13 million euros - are absolutely adequate.

What is the complaint? Militao receives 14 million euros in Madrid.

Agreed. But not if Kounde is a rightback. For what he offers there, 13m is too high.
But we didn't buy him as a RB, we bought him as a top LL CB who had offers from the PL.

So once we present a 5 year deal there's no going back, player gets paid the same. Anyway, Kounde's salary is not inflated.

Our issue as fans is just a psihological one. If these players would actually perform and we win everything nobody bats an eyelid about their salaries. We are not club accountants to act as if we care.

If FDJ would have been Rodri or KDB level, I wouldn't care what he earns.

Juve forum is mad because he will go for this price that is reported 10-15mil.

It is a low risk option that can hit jackpot if he is any decent.

If he is bad we can sell hin to Roma or Inter for same price.

I don't know much of the player, just seeing some highlights if we bag him for 10m and 9m gross pay then it's a pretty good deal.

But I would rather wait till next season and try for Nico. He's a significantly better player. No injury history to worry about as of yet.

Oh yeah Juve forum is planting master plan with fake being salty so we can hope...You got your eyes, go to forum and read posts.

Don't write stupid comments like that.
Mate, he will cost 10-15m + a minimum of 10m/year wages for 3 years. That's easily 50m down the drain if he flops. We won't easily sell him.

He's in the same boat as Umtiti and Ansu... pure actionism from the board if it happens.

Edit: Should have been when he flops. But guys like you will be the first to whine when we are stuck with him

At face value he's definitely better than most of out attackers, but fact he's being forced out of Juve of all clubs, stinks. We already have a half of starters, who are injury prone and, if this guys comes and only plays for like 10 games a season, it's another transfer disaster, unless he's on really low wages and come for free.

If he comes here for 10m and flops there will still be a market for him. The Milan clubs want him now and his stock in Italy won't fall that much.

Let's not forget, he was being quoted as a 100m player a few seasons ago. Yes, his injury has affected him, but has it really resulted in him losing 90 percent of his value? No.

The price we get him for is low because his contract is running down. Juve are kind of in the same situation as we were with Depay, Griezmann etc and look at how cheap we let them players go for.

If he fails here, I'm sure there would be mid table EPL clubs in for him as well. Bournemouth, West Ham, Palace, Fulham.

Whether you think he is worth getting for what he will bring on the pitch is up for debate, what isn't up for debate is the fact that he is available for a good price. His wages won't be extortionate either.

It's an opportunity.

Kounde wage is ABSOLUTELY inflated mate, as is Raphina's, Ferran's, and Ansu's
All these should not be getting more than 7-8m gross in a healthy wage structure.
Check other club's wage structures to get a sense
Militao is not the benchmark, and Kounde still is far away from Militao's level in any case

That is correct in theory, and given what an ideal wage structure should be

But, at the moment, and given the REALITY of our wage structure, where you have all the aforementioned overpayed, you can NEVER give Chiesa 6m Gross, when fuckin' Eric gets the same
You can totally comprehend why
Chiesa, given his football value, should be getting at least as much as Raphina and Kounde, if not more in our wage structure.
Him reducing and allowing us to give him 9m gross is ideal

I look at the average market salaries of players of a similar level and do not see that the salaries of Raphinha and Kounde are too high.

Take Premier League teams - tax rate 45%

Take the salaries of Madrid players - the tax rate is 45%

And compare the salaries of Kounde and Raphinha with the salaries of players from top teams in the Premier League and Madrid (the tax rate in Catalonia is 50%)

The only exception is Liverpool and Van Dijk.

Fati's salary is, yes, overpriced. And I was the first to protest against this contract, especially considering that Fati had just returned from another serious injury.

As for Ferran, now his contract really looks big. But 2 years ago he had a different status, he came from Man City, although he was not a starter there, but for the national team he was one of the key players.
