Bartra played in the preceeding 5 games, in two of which he played 6 and 28 minutes, respectively.

Thanks, I was about to say, JamDav1982's stats didn't seem right at all. He played under 900 minutes this season, minus the two Bayern and Celtic clashes that's only 540 minutes spare.

Not playing Bartra even when we won the league was just horrible. Should have been given a chance even IF he was awful whenever called upon, which he was NOT.

Bartra has been good/decent whenever he has played.

Sorry was looking at second Bayern game.

The fact remains he was not dropped in from nowhere.

Tito out!

The problem isn't that they have lost reality but that the last few years have been their only experience as Barca fans.

So we should be happy with losing 7-0 just because Barca have been through worse times in the past?

With the players we have, our performance in big games this season was completely unacceptable.

No, dont be happy with it but allow the coach who won the league by a record margin the chance to go again and doint demand he be sacked.

He took over a squad that needed change which Pep did not stick around to make happen.

That 7-0 was hugely down to injuries also.

You can thank Messi for the league title. And our performance in big games this season has been abysmal and completely unacceptable. Especially considering the players we have. You can't deny that.

He took over a squad that needed change which Pep did not stick around to make happen.

And he made it worse. No more pressing, etc. Not to mention he didn't fix the issues (didn't buy a CB, etc). We've been a lot worse in big games this season than last season, just compare our 2 CL semi ties. Last year, we completely dominated Chelsea and were extremely unlucky to not go through. This time, Bayern completely dominated us. And Tito was abysmal in big games, and the main reason we did so badly. Shit tactics, the team looked unmotivated, no/shit changes/subs, etc. The Bayern tie was a perfect example. Tito's tactics were shit and the team was unmotivated (it's also Tito's job to motivate the players), and as a result, Bayern dominated us and won 7-0. And Tito didn't do shit either, no changes (until we were down 4-0), no nothing. Just sat there and watched us get hammered.

That 7-0 was hugely down to injuries also.

Tito's own fault for shit rotation and overplaying Xavi, Messi, Puyol, etc. I hate it when people use this excuse. And don't even get me started on how he underplays youngsters like Montoya, Thiago (barely playing him even in the last 4 pointless games?  ), etc.

Of course we shouldn't be happy with the performances in the big games but we won the league. You just don't sack a manager who wins a league. It would instantly create an atmosphere of instability within the club. If you sack a manager who has won you the league and gets you to the semi final of the champions league then surely you should follow these sort of standards over the coming years which would likely see a constant changing of managers. I don't care if much of his success was down to Pep's legacy or Messi's performance; sacking a manager who wins the league does not make any sense. Tito deserves another chance to prove himself next season. I have huge doubts about him myself and in hindsight maybe we would have been better off going for another manager to replace Pep. That being said, he simply cannot be sacked this summer. I would rather see Tito try and fail next season then have a big name manager come in to replace him this summer.

+1, this guy keeps going on and on about the 7-0 loss to berate Vilanova (as if the man did no good for the club, he just came off a record title win ffs) and it's getting quite boring how he's doing it in every other thread
