Gullit is speaking nonsense.

'Failed time and again'.

FDJ was best Barca mid at WC by far and in three group games was MOTM in one, assisted in other and scored in other then was only second to Dumfries v USA. Then went out on pens to eventual winners.

Nations League... who really gives a fuck.. but he was levels above likes of Gavi again.

Same shite that used to be said about every player from Messi down in intl football.

Haaland is shite as he lets Norway down and cant even qualify... never ending.

Ronaldo is shite as never did it for Portugal in WC...

Vini, Pedri all shite as fail for intl team if dont win.

Top stuff.

If someone offers 9 figures for Frenkie I would snap their arm off.

If City are interested , accept Cancelo and 90m for him. If, and this is a big if of course, that 90m is spent wisely on a CDM and another goal scoring attacker, the squad will be great. Possibly, Champions League worthy, if draws are favourable.

Believe me, this is great news. The guys we have on our transfer list were always going to be hard to get rid of. It's looking more and more like seeking Frenkie will be our only real chance of creating a team capable of winning trophies next season.

That would have his value too high, city rate cancelo 50m at least, I don't think they've ever made 140m for a player, certainly won't do it for De jong.

But I agree with the General thought, someone comes in and offers, good money for him, sell immediately.

New DM replaces busquets, Gundogan replaces De jong, that's a instant upgrade right there.

No top clubs will want FDJ even for 60m odd last summer was always the claim....

Cant sell him lads.

Teams can move for Kessie, Rabiot, Fabian Ruiz, De Paul etc and get players that are just as good.

Sensational.

Good to see him go on though. Set the Goldenest of Retreivers free.

Real will love to see back of him. Dicks on their midfield time and again in way no other Barca mid has for last while.

They will be shaking in boots at thought of Gavis headless chicken act being a possibility at CM!

Breaking news 26 year old had a better 2nd half of the season than an 18 year old.

FDJ made his debut for NLs in 2018.. after they had just failed to qualify for two major tournaments in a row.

He makes debut and they get to final of Nations of League.. if trying to make out that means anything. They get to Euro 2020 winning x3 group games before going out in last 16 when MDL sent off.

They then qualify for 2022 World Cup. Win 3 of 4 games before going out to eventual winners on penalties in QF.

But aye FDJ has failed 'time and again' and reason NLs cant win intl tournaments and they were cruising before he came along..

Same numpties with same numpty opinions.

Nah better all season.

All hail De Jong.

Was also better than Busquets, Pedri and Kessie not just the headless chicken.

Says it all when 'but he is 18' is the argument when as a 17 yr old it was claimed he was superior player.

Usual.

So basically they won nothing, IE failing

Copy you 🤣

Awful logic.

All Barca team are failures then and cant lead at intl level.

At least FDJ was better than his team mates though. He has that.

Barca just signed another 'failure' in Gundogan.... cant lead Germany and was worse than FDJ at WC.

Numpty level stuff.

At 17 he was the better player, shit all over de jong in Xavi's first season.

First season de jong was being son'ed by two kids & a grappa.

But as per usual with kids they suffer in their 2nd season.

Typically nothing to see here.

Fair play FDJ for flighting his way back though

Haha absolutely no chance you numpty.

FDJ was far better than Gavi in Xavis first season and Gavi was not even a starter when they had their best run and FDJ was dicking on Real in Bernabeu and doing same to Napoli away etc.

Try again numpty.

FDJ was far better than Gavi before WC also...do better.

Xavi fucking up and playing inferior players before realising he was wrong is a terrible argument.

Xavi realised soon enough FDJ had to play.

Man city made an offer for rice.

Makes more sense, I know pep would never sign De jong unless he's was a plan B or C.

If the Oil money comes into for Man UTD, that would be a good bet though.

Aye no top club will want FDJ... thats the claim.

Rice is a good player and part of English quota and can probably fill that Stones role also as well as midfield.

Not surprising he fancies him.

Pep hasnt signed any Barca player... so nothing unique to FDJ.

Haha aye Pep doesnt rate FDJ but may sign him as 'plan B or C'.

Numpty level stuff.

Pep and City will give up more money to Rice than would have for Gundogan also.. facts.

Pep hasnt tried to sign Pedri, Busi, Gavi etc and has signed Kalvin Phillips/moved for Rice.

Rates the EPL talent above Barcas...even though he has infact tried to sign FDJ in past but lets ignore that.

I mean, economically, an offer of 80m+ for FDJ is hard to reject, especially due to his wages, with that said, we are letting go of an extremely good player if we sell him.

Selling him is tempting (I say that, knowing the club has been trying non stop to do it already) but we just came off a big league win. We should do our best to preserve that side that won it so we can build something with this core of players, who are young enough to be the future of the club.
