Name the Player.. Name the Game...Clues in the stats who it isnt.

1st Completed most passes - 79
Pass Accuracy - 91% - highest of any Barca midfielder.
2nd most progressive passes on pitch of any midfielder.
1st progressive passing yds on pitch of any midfielder.. more than Kroos and Modric combined.
2nd most passes into the final third
2nd for expected assists.
1st chances created at 5 - more than double anyone else on the pitch.
1st
for balls won back with 5 tackles/interceptions.
1st
equal for dribbles made
2nd for yds carried forward.

Bet he wishes he was more like the 'complete' midfielder Gavi!

Said for many times now... know those who are paid a lot of money to analze players and what they think of FDJ/Gavi.

Will die on the hill with them rather than folk who try to ignore the stats staring them in face and just repeat about how complete Gavi is and his 'balls'!

Answer to above it FDJ v Real when Barca beat them 2-1 to effectively win the league.

Thanks Frenskter. World class for 3rd time in a row v Real that season and 3 wins in row then also. Was dominating middle of park in those games.

Then he missed the cup game at Camp Nou short time after.. leaving Gavi and Busi to it... 4-0 Real and worst defeat at home in decades.

FDJ was important enough that had he played the 2nd leg in cup Barca probably win domestic double and Real dont win the Cup.

Not all on him clearly but were far worse when not there that season.

Different times.

You keep barking at the wrong tree, citing offensive stats

BTW, that '8th' in key passes for FDJ tells you everything you need to know on why he is not good offensively either

Nah those stats are to show on the ball how far ahead of others.

Mentioned defensive stats and 3rd last season for balls won back

Literally in that game mentioned refer to defensive stats and winning ball back more than anyone that game.

Some dont understand stats and think likes of Braithwaite and Dest are top players though...

Aye '8th in key passes' from deep is very good and within that he was 3rd for expected assists again is very very strong stat from deep.

Shows he picks his moments and the fact 4th last season for expected assists is an embarrasement for some players further forward

Literally all those stats show what he offers offensively.. forward passes, chances created, exepcted goals.. through balls etc.

I admire your loyalty to him, despite being below par for 5 seasons in a row

Will you keep being his fan at UTD or Chelsea where he will play in 25/26 season?

Fake news...

You keep following Dest/Braithwaite etc and guys you did back flips for based on your understanding of stats.

'But Xavi is ruining World Class Desty!'

LOL
You keep making up things never said

I don't follow anyone having left Barca.
Even with Dembele, last season I watched only important CL games of PSG (vs Milan, Newcastle, etc), and only highlights of very very few league games
And that was mostly out of curiosity of how Enrique uses the squad rather than any attachment issues

But I believe in you. You love Frenkie, so I am sure you will follow him closely in the EPL

Nobody knows. Firstly they said he'll be ready for Euro, than they said he'll be ready for Euro knockouts, then he was out of Euro but we all assumed he'll be back for preseason. When he came back they said he was still injured and had a swollen ankle and since then I don't remeber any news about him. Have to say, this looks very bad and could be a long time since he's back. I already said I expect Gavi will be back sooner than him, Olmo and Pedri will probably get injured and come back 3 times before we see FDJ on the pitch.

Will wear Frenkie jersey for today gym session....hopefully i wont get an injury :pique:

Jokes aside, there are no injury updates. Better when it takes longer and he get back to 100% before entering the pitch.
