This things don't exist in vakuum, they have broader consequences. Send FDJ to individual trainings and no play time for a season or even two and every potential transfer target will think twice if he wants to go to a club where that can happen. Especially for a player who didn't do anything wrong, he just played, trained and signed the contracts that we offered to him. He's not WC as we wanted him to be but he didn't do anything wrong. Even a lot bigger homegrown legends wanted every penny that was promised to them, we can't blame FDJ for the same thing.

We already had a public rejection by Mokio because how we treat Faye, I'm sure Nico sees what we are doing to Roque and that goes into his calculation of which club to chose. A few months of bad form or simply a financial need from the club and it could be Nico treated the same way. Fuck a club like that, he's got Athletic who treat him right and he can eventually go to a serious big club who respect their players.

'Poor Frenkie Didn't do anything wrong'? Seriously?
How can you guys be so gullible?

We are talking about a guy that sat on a contract after a criminal renewal he did with Bartomeu (BTW he, Pique, Lenglet, and Stegen were the snakes that negotiated individually behind the backs of their teammates with the board during fist Covid wave)
and ABSOLUTELY refused to help the club in any way possible during the hardest financial times.
- he refused to reduce wages
- he refused to extend
- he refused to leave on a transfer
He has been digging his heels for more than 2 years, while at the same time club legends have been forced out or waiving salary, AND the biggest legend of recent times LEFT because club could not register him.

And the guy has the audacity and nerve to say in interviews that 'he loves Barca'... GTFO
Putting a player on the stands during negotiations will be a hell of a way to lose the entire dressing room and aligning them against the club.

Those are young men who trains, travel, eat, share rooms etc every day for months. You think they will accept an unfair treatment to one of them because the board fucked up before and don't want to pay for their mistake?

Never mind that player has been actually voted by the players as vice captain,he is a popular figure in the dressing room.

Players has contracts and they have the right to honour them if they want. There are ways to push them out or pressure them, but they are limited at the end.

Unfair

Irrelevant if he is popular in the dressing room. They will find new friends when he leaves

No, this is not a strategy for any player whatsoever, let alone youngsters who are on very low salary.
We are talking about the highest earner of the squad in a time when the club is in financial crisis

The opposite is the case: everyone will get the message that the club can't be blackmailed or held hostage by the whims of any player.
Frenkie is in control of his situation, which for anyone who appreciate labour rights (even extreme rich ones) should respect. The only thing he doesn't control is actually leaving now.

People should stop reading those nonsense 37M figure that was made up to push him out. Even if you don't like him, I don't think Frenkie is a player that is pressing a nerve and make you desperate for him to leave.

This isn't a Lenglet, Coutinho situation etc.

Ah yeah.
'Labour rights' talk about people that are making millions...

'do better' is a very funny, condescending way to talk to people. I am stealing that if I ever get into an argument with someone on another forum.
You can also try to talk to someone outside of forums, where you live. You would not believe but there are better things than going to football club forum and licking the a$$ of every fan of this club and feel relevant when they give you a “like” 😂

Complete lies.. it was said about Pique.

Do better.

Tried to make some point and failed flat.

Never once said Umtiti can be sacked due to his injury....

Jamdav "Umtiti went to world cup against club wishes and treated his injury against the clubs direction"

We have grounds to cancel his contract.

That's on top of the pique crap.

Both of wish are non sense, not how contracts work.

But this wasn't to debate with a known liar about what he said, I just wanted us all to agree that contracts can't be unilaterally cancelled.

Nobody is getting put in the stands, bloody hell

I'd respectfully like him to leave if he isn't going to commit or help the club out but it's his choice and for all the shit he got last summer, the guy is a professional.

Jamrock with complete lies again about Umtiti...you do realise that can search for those quotes...feel free.

Heres how Jamrock works.. lies.. gets called on it.. doubles down... asks to back it up.. trolls.

Doubling down on lies quite the Jamrock calling card.

Do better... never said that about Umtiti.

Have zero idea about how contracts work as per usual.

Jamrock lies in last few days can be added to..'Laporta got rid of Suarez'...'Barca had to pull levers or sell players to pay down loans'.

Known liar and provably so time and again.

Him and de Ligt really cashed in on the magical Ajax season that both their clubs are willing to sell them under market value.

Silly billys turning down 100m then... not that he would have gone.

Given FDJ has two years left and they stand to save the most on salary and amortised then dont blame them at all for trying to sell him if wont renew.

They know there is a very narrow list he would even move to.
