Never did watch too much of Pirlo but everything I hear about him suggests that he would have been good for barca, yes. Thanks Saladin.

What other star players were/are known Barca fans/fans of our playing style? It might be overly simplistic to say so but you can't go wrong with approaching/pursuing players that were and are known fans of Barcelona and our famed playing style.
