The auto market isn’t inflated by someone paying €200k for a Ferrari, but it would be if someone spent €50k on a base Honda Civic.

I hope that analogy is simple enough to understand.

It's easy to understand, but it doesn't work in football.

Cars have a fixed price.

Transfers are more like auctions.

Hopefully people will temper their expectations and not just look at the stats given his somewhat minimal returns for goals and assist in the eredivisie. For a lower price he would have been seen as an investment that may turn out to be bargain but now this price could mean the expectations skyrocket.
Nobody ever judged Iniesta on stats since he was so clearly one of the best players. Same with Arthur now. Stats are overrated ino.

The analogy also works for real estate, where costs aren’t fixed. I.e. Housing markets aren’t inflated because a single family buys a €3m mansion. It’s inflated when 100 people rent €2k one bedroom condo’s. Mind you, Neymar’s cost was fixed, but that’s beside the point.

Dont mind the money at all. Hes a very natural footballer in his movements. Just like Arthur, where you could see after the first preseason game for Barcelona that he would make it.
