What he needs to do is go away from Barcelona. As far as possible. This rollercoaster of playing 1 good game - "OMGPIQUENBAUERISBACK" - followed by 3 Segunda level defending games is going on for years now. Nothing excuses this kind of "defending" from him.
Nothing to do with "being paired with the wrong CB partner". This is on him and solely on him being a train wreck.
He's the Oleguer of the Pep generation. His few good games coincide with total midfield domination from Barca where he has to deal with 1 completely isolated CF like Negredo the other day.
To be fair, Pique has around 3 good games before 1 where he sucks and people go "OMG HE MUST LEAVE!"

That's 2 of his last 3 La Liga games. Inbetween was Rayo Vallecano, relegation fodder that was completely dominated. In the CL we played it as safe as possible in midfield (we have to play like that because our defense can't deal with any sort of pressure by the way, so we play it safe) and were also up against 10 men for almost an entire half.

That's true but the problem is that defenders have to be reliable. We have to count on them not to let us down or otherwise we could lose games in which we're clearly superior and we've already seen this dozens of times with Barca (e.g. the 2012 CL tie against Chelsea). Same goes for goalkeepers by the way and that's one of the reasons I'm not entirely disappointed that Valdés will leave us at the end of the season.

And now we will have to play with Bartra next 2-3 matches, who IMO is still is not ready to be a starting defender.

The two gifs you put in were pretty much his only mistakes (and the one late slide tackle for a yellow) he made the entire game; it's just as easy to put in a few gifs of his tackles and say, "OMG, best CB ever", looking at isolated moments does nothing to support your argument.

They certainly weren't his only mistakes. He was also the main culprit for the 3rd goal as he didn't even try to attack the player who put the cross in.

To be honest, I think Pique has been our best centerback this season. He gets way too much hate. He is important for our defence not only because of his height, but because he steps up in the bigger games as well.For sure.
Pique had a bad touch in the gif above, but he´s only going for the ball because he thinks Vela is behind him. His team should've told him to let the ball go, and Valdes would've taken it. It was a terrible performance by the whole team last night.
