I hope he stays and retires here as long as he fights for his place in the team. He is one of the best centre-backs in the world. I'm not a fan of selling a player who is off-form. He saved our asses on several occasions and after he got injured, our defence looked far more vulnerable.

I think it's obvious Lucho doesn't have fixed starters in defense, regardless of what people here say. Málaga is arguably a harder task than Levante and Piqué and Bartra are both starting.
