Maybe players decided to show Tata they don't care about anything else other than TikiTaka so they are losing games on purpose. :xavi:

Chelsea level bull*it right here.

He said it before the defeat to La Real by the way.

Of course it doesn't have to be true. But let's be honest. Barcelona wouldn't sack a coach after 1 season just because he hasn't won anything, would they? Unless the results are really really catastrophic but we'll probably finish with 90+ points, have reached the Cup final and not winning the CL wouldn't be enough reason to get sacked. Winning it with our backline would be a miracle anyway.

Having said that - I have the suspision Martino will resign on his own. You get the feeling the players don't like his ideas and just want to play like they've always done.

People keep on saying this but out Backline is always great in big games Man city ,Real, Atletico and psychologically Celtic (They beat us last year and messi was out for this game).

We don't have time for the players and management to argue over tactics. Tata needs to get things in order fast or this season will slip away from us. No more rotations or tactical experiments. In Tata we trust.

If you do not win anything with a 500m euros squad, than you have a serious problem as a coach. Tata Martino should be judged on results, as any other coach from a super-competitive team.

That's ridiculous. There are 3 cups he can win and 2 of them are knock-out competitions. What if he comes second to a 600m euro squad and gets knocked out of Europe by one of the best teams and managers of this century ( Bayern with Pep ). There is no shame in losing the title to Madrid this season.

Shame? No. Non-performance? Yes.

If we lose the title, it won't be because Madrid has a better team. It will be because Madrid had an experienced coach that knows how leagues are won - by losing as few points as possible against the weaker teams. Tata Martino has shown so far that he is a dependable coach when it comes to the big matches. That's great, but not enough to win a title in the long-run.

He has the best players available. Most of them are top 3 on their positions in the world. All he needs to do is make them concentrate and treat every game with the same ambition. But he doesn't seem to know how to do that, does he? And that's a big, big problem. We need a motivator. And you don't become a motivator with time. You either are, or aren't.

Lol Carlo doesn't exactly have a good league record winning trophies, confusing him.
And Tata has plenty experience. Bother are new to this league but both play in leagues as coaches in leagues.

Last time I checked he came on Bernabeu after he won the league with PSG. He is a prestigious coach, with two CLs won as a manager.

Some barca fans here need to start watching football more. They dont know a lot of things. Saying tata has Experience and carlo has no good winning record! How naive can that get

Exactly. He's won the Serie A, Premier League, Ligue 1 and he's close to winning La Liga too. And two Champions League, almost three if not for that Istanbul miracle. That's impressive.

NOTE: SPORT has been garbage for quite some time now, take with a bucket of salt.

Barcelona look for alternatives in case Martino won't continue. Luis Enrique, Valverde, Villas-Boas, Klopp and Simeone are options. [sport]
