In principle he should of course keep his trap shut about transfer activity in general, but I really don't think what he said was that terrible. I mean, come on, everyone and his dog knows that we're in the market for a keeper and at least one cb. Bartomeu reiterating that won't change a dime. And about the budget? A number as vague as the one he presented - from 60M to 120M, what top team out there wouldn't be able to spend money like that in the summer? It should hardly surprise anyone that we'll need to splash out anyhow, and the numbers he mentioned won't change that.
We'll face fierce competition for every target out there, and if anything, flexing our financial strenght, will show other potential suiters that we mean business.
But in all honestly, I really don't see that these comments will have any effect on our transfer activity come July what so ever.
