Winning a title with this team against this opposition would be miraculous. Nothing short of amazing. Enough to look at Barca’s bench yesterday.

Solid coaching and tactics, implementing some patterns, higher fitness level and improved physicality, out of the group stage and later performance judged based on the draw, and solid showing in the league would put Flick miles ahead of Xavi. Can't let it slide. You can't force comparisons and then use some arbitrary stuff. The demands are in the results.

Simple. Xavi had a La Liga season with a ppg average that normally leads to a 95 point season. If Flick matches that, he is likely to get the title.
