Hector Bellerin

Looks done, expecting Arsenal to screw us over with a monster of a transfer fee.

I like Bellerin but he will need serious improvement to succeed here, his game is geared to a counter attacking team with lots of space. His awareness in defence, technical play in offense and his crossing need serious improvement if he is to survive.

I'm not sure he will be able to adapt to parked buses but let's see.

He is not my first choice but i am not as pessimistic as most of you here. He was basically the best RB in the EPL last season, I know he didn't perform well this year, but Arsenal were bad as a whole this season.

If it's a done deal I am still hopeful he can succeed here.

After Bellerin's transfer for 50M this summer, and if we don't win anything in the next season (which we won't), the only option for our team is for Robert and the board to leave.

Robert will spend 200-300 Millions in 2-3 years, and RM will just bang a trophy after trophy.
This is the same as Gaspart's era now with the most ridiculous transfers and fees ever.

Lol, okay the he is not better than Vidal is a bit of an exaggeration. He is much better than Vidal, we're talking about the best RB in the EPL last season. Having said that, I do not think he's a good player overall, and definitely not worth whatever Arsenal ask for. I wouldn't mind getting him at 15-20m but nothing more. He doesn't offer that much other than pace (will smoke Vidal in this department alone) and can't see him being someone who can offer much against tight defenses.

It was inevitable that this transfer would happen. We've been linked with him for 2 years now. I was hoping that when he signed a new Arsenal deal last year, that would be the end of it, but no.

This board is the most unimaginative board around. What the feck do they see in a player that is only pace and not much else? His technique is average, his crosses are Alba material, his 1 vs 1 defending is poor, his positional play is also nothing to write about.

Btw Walker was head and shoulders above Bellerin last year and i wouldn't want Walker for Barcelona. Not for the price these guys would come anyway.

For about 25-30 million it would be a decent piece of business but Arsenal will take us to the cleaners. They have him locked up until 2023.

With Valverde and now this guy, I have a bad feeling about the upcoming season

On the other hand, some high quality players will leave Real Madrid after this season (Morata, James, Pepe, ...), which will definitely make them weaker.
