 there is no one other than Zidane that is like Iniesta. wilshere is overrated.
and I love how you make it sound like Ramsey is better than Cesc.

from what iv seen Tiam he basically ran the two games in thee Emirates cup, and Milan are good in possesion. didnt look overrated at all, i think u just think that because hes english and they hype up loads of young players. because you couldnt of seen that much.,

@Alex Song - i thought ramsay was an AM? anyway wilshere reminded me of scholes.

Not really. Both technically gifted but Ramsey is more of a complete CM while Wilshere is a very attack minded midfielder/wide player. Another youngster to look out for is Emmanuel Frimpong who's a defensive midfielder. Can play for England or Ghana.

It's hard to compare Ramsey to another player, I suppose he's pretty similar to Fabregas but tackles more and is quicker. Whilst Wilshere is more like a Iniesta type I suppose, reminds me of Hleb/Joe Cole a lot.

So yes really. I didn't say they played the same roles.

Wilshere seems to have made that Deep Lying role his own for the Gunners, was really impressed with him last night.

Capello for the sake of english football needs to play him.

Rodwell and Wilshere could own that Midfield for England IMO.

I didn't see the game but I saw the highlights and his assist for Chamakh was impressive.

When Cruyff helped the academy system in Barca to adopt a pass and move style, he said it would take time for results to show, but it did. First there was Guardiola, then the Xavi/Reina/Iniesta, then an explosion of talent with Pique/Cesc/Messi/Busquets/Pedro/etc etc. Wenger has been doing the same thing to help Arsenal and England produce technical players, and just now the fruits are starting to show. A runty little kid like Wilshere would never have made it as a footballer in another English academy - where the tallest fastest runners fly through the ranks. At Arsenal he was taught to keep possession since the age of 9, and he has been personally learning from Cesc in training.

Got a bit of time off from my course. Wilshere is bossing the game against spurs.

1 assist already, got seriously high hopes for this kid.

Gary Cahill and Micah Richards shouldn't be anywhere near the squad, and neither should Jack Wilshere. Our potential midfield will include him (Aswell as McEachran), but right now we should stick with what we already have. Some seem to forget that the team who failed badly at the World Cup also had our best ever qualifying campaign building upto the tournament. Why drop them? Fabio Capello needs to shoulder most of the blame for some highly bizarre decision making in the months leading upto it.

Last thing - Danny Welbeck - NOT... A... CHANCE. Horribly overrated youngster, never International quality, and neither is Ryan Shawcross nor Jay Spearing.
