Sure, I just said, if Madrid and Barca in particular get their shit together. Both are wondering about trying to pretend the likes of Pique, Modric, Busquets are the best.

Their cycle is over but just refuse to accept it.

Barca and Real can be best in Europe as can likes of Bayern but the conditions make it harder than ever and La Liga is declining fast with them at moment and outwith them even if they improve.

No one is saying Barca and Real cant get better as far as I am aware. They almost have to as cant get much worse.

The internal conditions make it harder than ever. Only Messi's leaked contract makes me dizzy. It's astonishing how much money we paid Messi. Probably the highest player contract ever signed in any sport ever. By far.

Not EPL being this boogeyman that condemns Barca and Madrid to suffering. Both are back big time when they clean the house. And so will La Liga naturally.

When things are going well, it's easy to go way over budget.

Barto went loco.

It has got to point that there has been so much investment in clubs infrastructure in EPL by owners and investing tv money that they are creating far more quality young players than Spain as well.

Even then the ones Spain do have who shine at 16/17 there is a fair chance up until now that EPL teams move in for them.

There is a lot of ways Spain have been left behind young players development, academies and style of play being dated. It took Villareal playing like Burnley to get a draw. Which fair play to them that is the aim but it is a sign of where the techincal level of Spain is at moment.

12 - 14 in shots or something like that for United. Don't be fooled. Villareal dominated portions of the match too.

Anyway, we'll see how big the role of the managers is in EPL, when Pep, Klopp will move on to other teams. If the league is producing that talent, and it goes beyond a simple cycle, they should be able to maintain the level without them.

It was good tactical decision by Emery. Villa can't compete with United by running up and down. United players are faster/quicker and maybe stronger. They wouldn't last in a game like that.

Technically British teams have improved which has lowered Spanish edge.

Not many teams in Spain can play with the same intensity as PL teams.

Villareal sat in deep for most of match and let United have the ball and United were shite any time they broke.

The gave the ball up in that match and first thought was to defend.

Burnley will do the same even if get some chances.

12 attempts in 120 mins is not great.

That doesnt make sense.

Of course Pep and Klopp have been huge for City and Liverpool and no one claims they are an irrelevance that the talent in teams will maintain same level without them.

Villarreal played it smart to their capacity and even had more energy to control the extra time.

If they had one or two pacy front men then they could of hurt Man UTD a lot more on the counter.

It is no different to how PSG played against Bayern and City. And if Mbappe wasn't injured against City, they would have probably progressed. The stars aligned for the False Buddha.

I am for the three clubs fighting UEFA against its unbridled monopoly but the statement from the three always made it sound like the three are out to save European football from an imminent collapse, that is just too pretentious and fake.

I get it that Laporta likes ESL money. But situation is that ESL is dead and for now only thing that it is possible to gain is a ban or a penalty fee.

So bow down now and fight tomorrow.

This shit looks like we are ready to sink down with captain Flo. Fuck him...

It is definitely about EPL money also and how that league is growing and medicore sides cherry the best players from other leagues too often.

They know that will continue and the interests in other leagues will wane as it already has.

Barca/Real and others will find it harder and harder to sign the top players when more EPL teams can get them earlier and are a bigger attraction to play there and its only going to get worse.

Its not about EPL money. Its about PSG and city money. No EPL team can compete with Barca and Madrid.
Perez never cared about them. He thinks they are inferior. City and PSG however has pissed him off.
