1) Please do not attack or insult me.. I did not do anything like that, athough i disagree.. And you also violate the rules of the forum..

2) Do you know how much football i have watched in my life or what i know about tactics? You have claimed twice to know better than me what i think or believe.. And at the same time you are convienced that Cruyff like Murinho!

3) Dont twist what i say! i did not say that whatever anyone says in public, is fibs.. But some things are designed for specific reasons, and would not happen otherwise..

4)I was proven wrong only in your mind.. You did not prove anything to me.. By saying that you had two DMs in one game does not prove anything.. I said the question is about mentality and their reflection in the priority on which you attack/defend ..
And it not coincidence that attacking sides are remembered with great joy from the fans..

5)ok.. tevez, silva, a.johnson, yaya toure, richards have featured may times together in the same XI are defensive-minded? this leaves us with 5 only defensive minded players.. so, your point does not stand... And city also goes upfront with 4-6 men.. It is not really about numbers, but about the way these numbers are used.. And to me, UTD, city and real look a lot alike this year.. Cautious football, first priority defending, carefull at the back, and super-effective results..

6) i said from the begining that i am trying to figure out what he is trying to do.. and no, i have not watched all the games.. From what i have watched my conclusion is what i said.. Can you tell me if you consider your win in Amsterdam attacking display or not?
If yes, we have simply different views about attacking football..

Jesus. just because they use Yaya as a box to box doesn't make him an attacking player Jesus christ
and so Tevez - Silva-A Johnson are more attacking than Higuain,Di maria , Ozil,Cristiano and Marcelo... right...
City goes upfront with 4-6 players but Real don't have 6 players upfront ALL THE TIME..
i already gave you the CL classico's and the final as an example same thing happened before vs B. Munich i also gave you Del bosque own preference in the Spanish national team.. Del Bosque prefer two players in the centre always did with Real .. it was either 3-5-2 or 4-4-2 with Solari /Guti helping Makelele or putting Helguera in the center beside Makelele and Pavon playing a CB beside Heirro , he switch to 4-4-2 diamond when Real need to win the game (and in that case Solari always had the dirty job of staying behind

for example (and you can head to UEFA CL website and get all the line ups ) this Real madrid vs Sparta in the group stage

1 Iker Casillas
2 Míchel Salgado
3 Roberto Carlos
4 Fernando Hierro
5 Zinédine Zidane
6 Iván Helguera
7 Raúl González
9 Fernando Morientes
10 Luís Figo
24 Claude Makelele
31 Paco Pavón
this is Real Madrid vs B Munich

13 César
2 Míchel Salgado
3 Roberto Carlos
4 Fernando Hierro
5 Zinédine Zidane
6 Iván Helguera
7 Raúl González
15 Geremi
21 Santiago Solari
24 Claude Makelele
31 Paco Pavón

Real Madrid vs Barca
13 César
2 Míchel Salgado
3 Roberto Carlos
4 Fernando Hierro
5 Zinédine Zidane
6 Iván Helguera
7 Raúl González
14 Guti
21 Santiago Solari
24 Claude Makelele
31 Paco Pavón

Real Madrid again vs Barca
13 César
2 Míchel Salgado
3 Roberto Carlos
4 Fernando Hierro
5 Zinédine Zidane
6 Iván Helguera
7 Raúl González
10 Luís Figo
14 Guti
21 Santiago Solari
24 Claude Makelele
I can't entertain you insisting on not hearing anything and acting like a tool , come back when you watch any sort of football in the past , present or future
meanwhile don't talk about staff you never watched and i don't have time to educate you if you can't read

Then you ruined it all, on the pitch, by signing David Beckham soon afterwards ;)

Looking at those line ups brings back the memories at how magnificent Real were in the early 00's. I still insist that Real's performance at Old Toilet in 2000 was one of the finest performances I have ever seen.

Slow down bro, you act as if you're some kind of football oracle and insult people, while you fail to offer any deeper insight or knowledge on football.

We get it, Mourinho is God, he's a winner and has Special Tactics.

About your points: Yaya is not defensive-minded (and that is the term you used), i did not compare at any point in my post defensive-mindness in Real players and City ones..
The formations and the personnel can be used to employ strategies.. And one formation can embody vastly different strategies in different teams..

My point is clear, and it is there for the others.. Real's strategy back then was starking different from what i have seen this year.. In the recent history of Madrid, it is the most defending-oriented and cautious football along with Capello's side, whether you like it or not..

PS: Thank you, but i do not need your education, which i think you lack as a human being.. I was willing to listen to everything you had to say, but i do not think i will any more.. You have no right to insult me, neither you are football specialist and judging from your answers you are the one who doesnot listen...

how dare you, Gio. Jose Mourinho is a footballing god come down to Earth to educate us puny mortals on what true enlightenment is. I meditate under a poster of Jose for four hours every night trying to attain 1/5th of his knowledge so that I can inspire those around me to be their absolute best. never insult Jose. ever.

Gio is the Oracle ... I named him so in Slut Wars.

Villarato!
Couldn't pass it bec Ronaldo was running onto offside position, or wasn't he ? And Ronaldo couldn't take part in the attack, because he would be called for being offside at the moment of the cross to Figo.

Figo was pretty fast @ Barcelona.. in his last matches at Inter he was slower than Peter Crouch

He complained about the ref again. I only wonder how would have he reacted had Madrid had a legit goal disallowed (like ours vs. Arsenal).
