Sensible half way house if you ask me, the Portuguese league isn't all that bad, he won't have linguistic problems but the climate is similar to Catalunya and he gets used to life in Europe. I'm fairly pleased with the decision.

Boo hiss boo, not Benfica. We want him to adapt to the Spanish league asap, which is a step up from that league. There's plenty of teams here who'd love to take on a young, very talented striker.

Some reason I have Sevilla in my head. Think he would do well there for a years loan. :)

Probably aim to bag 10+ league goals, and will undoubtedly gain great experience.

Yep I mentioned that earlier on too, learning his stuff from Kanoute would be awesome, and as Luis Fabiano seems likely to leave he'd get good playing opportunities. Same could go for Atleti.
