Apparently managed to fill a stadium and get broadcast on national TV in random places

I just find it amusing Barcabois also follow and watch since have nothing better to do but comment on style of Zidane trousers

Accusing Barca fans of taken too big an interest in Madrid, whilst being a Madrid fan who has thousands of posts on a Barca forum is really not the best look.

You starting to act as deluded as Jude now as well :VdB:

What doesnt warrant the change in your head is not what happens about 95% of the time really

He has changed the system to accommodate Benzema departure and lack of consistent CF in general
Will most likely change back now that he has more forwards reasonably comfortable operating centrally to play with

As has been established for a while, he's not a system coach and fundamentally regrets sticking to a formation for too long when circumstances change.

It'll most likely be a 4-3-3 with Bellingham dropping to his Dortmund position and Rodrygo going back outwide
Or a variation on the theme

You have an idea in your head that is only a paper exercise with no evidence that Ancelotti thinks like that, or any other grounding. And chances are it's not happening, for the simple reasons:

1) Bellingham has to prove to be a better CM than Camavinga or Valverde, if he plays in his 'Dortmund position. But he is NOT! We have established that the tap-in merchant is a meh midfielder with no sense of tempo or control, the 'burst into scoring positions' style suits him much better

2) and Rodrygo (or Endrick) have to turn into monster wingers who warrant their inclusion AHEAD of any of the midfielders. Meanwhile, Mbape is all but a box CF who needs wingers to feed him. He will have the 'freestyle' movement up top that Rodrygo enjoined this season, and that is the (only possible) formula that can compromise both him and Vini without playing anyone really out of position

Nope none of that has to happen just as Ancelotti didn't have to change to diamond and sacrifice a winger to try Jude at 10 and bring players in from the wings tighter.
Plenty reasons to think he'll change formation to suit squad with more wingers benefitting from more minutes including Ancelotti own words he prefers to adapt to what's at disposal

Bellingham can play deeper without much an issue as proven at Dortmund. Whether or not it'll work in RM is a test we're likely to see very soon

Reasonable response. I still think he's far better higher up the pitch, but we will see if he can play deeper. I am not convinced but he might prove people wrong.

Who do Barca have playing CB and RB these days? Araujo gonna be fit to mark all three forwards before he gets sent off?

I bet you didn't watch much Dortmund. He was decent deeper, but not more than that.
There is a huge difference between what he offers as a shadow free-roaming striker that he plays for Madrid and what he can offer as a CM.

Ancelotti will surely change formation if there is a reason or objective for it.
If you remember correctly he used to play with 4 mds (including Valverde) in all important games in 22/23 season. Belligham's arrival necessitated an amend in formation, and if Benzema had never left, he would be playing the same diamond with Benzema instead of Rodrygo

Now Mbape's arrival doesn't necessitate anything more than benching Rodrygo.
Besides, this free style of the three upfront w/o fixed positions might benefit Mbape

I bet that will be his formation and system for all the big games, and if he tries something else he will soon revert to this

Word around team and practice is we're back to 4-3-3 with three forwards switching positions as predicted moving Rodrygo back to RM in 4-4-2 when defensive
Who would have thought huh

Soo? Literally everyone expected Mbappe in the center… we will see how he works out there. He was fairly mediocre for PSG there, but then again I am 99% certain his head was gone already.
