Barca have taken more points of Atletico than Real have in previous four seasons.

They went unbeaten for a really long time, until we beat them(again).
They can always get draws, i suppose, but hardly anyone in La Liga beats them in 2020, it is what it is.

That is credit to Atletico more than putting emphasis on other teams not beating them.

You have to admire the way Zidane plays the game. 2 genuine central midfielders and a destroyer in a 4-3-3. All three can run, defend, head, shoot from distance etc. 2 wingers, who can actually dribble,shoot and a proper 9 up front. Simple. Barca is the complete opposite. A 'funky' physically weak defensive midfielder that can't head, can't shoot from range, can't tackle to save his life. No need to go on further.

We are not better without him, the competition just started doing worse, thats all.

What's to admire? Played the same way for nearly 5 years and style unequivocally suffers.

Not really.
Kroos defending is suspect, same with Modrić.
Case is poor under pressure a lot of the time.
Fede is the best of the bunch.

Give or take the template is what most top teams are using. You don't give them enough credit tbh. Three straight CL titles with that approach. Some luck and Mixed results at times but the system is way more effective than current Barca.

I give them plenty of credit for the years where team performed to standard in UCL and translated it to league. Equating that with what we see them play currently is a bit silly.

There is little to no system. As proven by the constant lineup changes. Eibar plays the highest line and crosses the most in the league leaving the biggest amount of space in behind. Today was a cakewalk for players like Benzema or Modrić + very good Rodrygo who love trivelas into space. (except it kinda wasn't cuz several players missed chances to take us 3 goals up early on)
